Abstract: Some embodiments described herein are directed to a lid for a beverage container including a lid base, a closure, and a handle. The lid base may define a drinking opening therethrough. The closure may be coupled to the lid base and movable between a closed position in which the closure covers the drinking opening and an open position in which the closure does not cover the drinking opening. The handle may be coupled to the lid base and rotatable about a handle rotation axis. When the closure is in the closed position, the closure remains in the closed position when the handle is rotated within a first handle range. In response to the handle being rotated beyond the first handle range when the closure is in the closed position, the closure automatically moves from the closed position to the open position.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for providing distributed content to a mobile device (e.g., in a mobile vehicle) through multiple content access points along a particular route are presented. In some embodiments, a computing device may receive a selection of media content and a selection of a particular route from a plurality of routes to enable navigation of a mobile vehicle from a start point to an end point calculated based on at least a number of content access points along each route. A computing device may divide the media content into a plurality of segments and send each segment to a respective planned content access point of a plurality of planned content access points along the particular route. In some embodiments, a mobile computing device within a mobile vehicle may receive a segment from each planned content access point to enable continuous uninterrupted playback of the media content.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for automated determination of certain physical characteristics of a trailer in a tractor-trailer truck and positional arrangement between the trailer and tractor of the truck. The technology may include a camera mounted on the tractor to acquire an image of at least a rear portion of the trailer; a sensor configured to acquire information relating to the trailer angle; a processor configured to determine a position of the rear portion of the trailer in the image, and determine the length of the trailer based at least in part on the determined position of the rear portion of the trailer in the image and the information relating to the trailer angle.

In one example, the receiver defines a substantially Y-shaped opening configured to selectively receive the first end of the mounting post. In another example, upon insertion of the first end of the mounting post into the Y-shaped opening, the mounting post is locked within the Y-shaped opening via engagement between the mounting post and an angled protrusion extending away from the second component of the receiver.

The actuator is accessible from an exterior of the base. A first and second magnet unit are coupled to one of the arm or actuator. A third magnet unit is coupled to the other of the arm or actuator. The arm is movable between a sealed position, in which the drinking opening is sealed, and an open position, in which the drinking opening is not sealed. The actuator is movable between a first and second position. A magnetic force maintains the arm in the open position while the actuator is in the second position, and a magnetic force maintains the arm in the sealed position while the actuator is in the first position.

The lid body has a spout defining a first drinking opening and a second drinking opening through the lid body and a latch. The closure is rotatably coupled to the lid body and configured to rotate between a closed position in which the closure covers the lid body and an open position in which the closure does not cover the lid body. The seal member is coupled to the closure and configured to seal around an outer surface of a rim of the spout when the closure is in the closed position. The latch is configured to engage with the closure to retain the closure in the closed position.

Abstract: A multidirectional aerosol dispensing device and methods of utilizing the device in a variety of positions, including an inverted position, to dispense an aerosol product. The device may include an aerosol container, an undercap, and an actuator. An aerosol valve may be located at a bottom portion of the aerosol container. The aerosol valve may have a valve stem for displacing the aerosol valve from a biased closed position to an open position upon a movement of the valve stem to discharge the aerosol product from the valve stem. The undercap may be mounted to the aerosol container with the top portion of the undercap being adjacent to the bottom portion of the aerosol container. The bottom portion of the undercap may terminate in a base surface for supporting the device on a supporting surface to store the aerosol dispensing device in an inverted position.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a component, preferably for a sporting good, comprising the following steps: providing a polymer; providing a solvent; mixing the polymer with the solvent, thereby producing a liquefied polymer; and curing the liquefied polymer, thereby producing the component. Other embodiments of the disclosure relate to an outsole and a sports shoe obtained by the method according to the disclosure.
