Abstract: A financial transaction method can include creating a token correlated to a financial account. The method can also include storing the correlation between the token and the financial account in a token database. The method can also include transmitting the token to a mobile computing device operating an application. The method can also include displaying the token on a display of the mobile computing device. The method can also include receiving, over a public network, the token and data associated with a first financial transaction. The method can also include confirming identity between the token transmitted to the mobile computing device and the token received from the secondary computing device. The method can also include transmitting over the public network, approval of the first financial transaction to the secondary computing device in response to the confirming.

Abstract: Methods and associated apparatuses are described herein that provide a tile alternative material. The tile alternative material may be manufactured by providing a substrate that defines a first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second surface is configured to be secure, via an adhesive or otherwise, to a support surface. The method further includes coating an exterior layer on the first surface of the substrate, and forming a pattern element in the first surface of the substrate. Forming the pattern element includes removing material from the substrate and the coated exterior layer of the first surface to form one or more recessed portions.

Abstract: Resistance feedback is provided to a machine operator via a joystick configured to steer the machine. An electrically actuated magnetic feedback brake unit is associated with the joystick for selectively resisting movement of the joystick. Haptic feedback is provided by determining a machine speed at which the machine is travelling, mapping the determined machine speed to a corresponding joystick resistance value, and mapping the corresponding joystick resistance value to an actuation current. The electrically actuated magnetic feedback brake unit is then actuated at a current substantially exceeding the actuation current until a predetermined level of actuation is reached. Once the predetermined level of actuation is reached, the electrically actuated magnetic feedback brake unit is driven at the actuation current.

Abstract: An insulation system using pourable insulation, a method of making pourable insulation, and a method of installing pourable insulation are shown and described. In one embodiment the insulation system includes a pre-classified insulation component and an adjustable compression package configured to hold the insulation component at a first compressed density and to allow the insulation component to reach, within the package, a second density that is lower than the first density.
