  • Publication number: 20100040930
Abstract: A bipolar plate (1) comprising on the first face a groove forming a first distribution channel (111) for one of the gases, comprising on the second face a groove forming a second distribution channel for the other of the gases, comprising in its thickness an inner channel (122) for the circulation of a coolant, said plate being formed from a structural support having a surface that does not conduct electricity and that is chemically inert, said plate comprising pins (10) that pass through the whole thickness and that emerge on both sides through each of said first and second faces in the working section, said pins being spread over the entire working section of said plate.

  • Publication number: 20080166612
Abstract: Fluid distribution plate (1) for a fuel cell assembly, comprising a first plate (11) made of an electrically conductive material impermeable to all the fluids used in a fuel cell assembly, said distribution plate having a useful section (S) which is the surface over which the gases used by the electrochemical reaction are distributed, said useful section (S) being bordered all around by a peripheral section (P), said first plate having a given thickness e1 in the peripheral section and a smaller thickness e2 in the useful section so as to form a recess from the side facing the outer face and so as to have a flat inner surface, a flexible graphite foil (11C) being applied against said first plate (11) over the entire surface of the recess, the visible face of the flexible graphite foil having a distribution channel (111) for one of the fluids, said network being formed completely in the graphite foil.

  • Patent number: 7165640
Abstract: Traction chain for an automobile vehicle including a wheel support (K) which supports a rotating hub designed to receive a drive wheel (W), and a rotating toothed wheel having the same rotation axis as that of the drive wheel, the toothed wheel meshing directly with the hub. At least two gear-wheels are permanently engaged with the toothed wheel and are rotated by an input shaft that is driven by an electric motor. A gear ratio change shifter mechanism is shiftable between first and second driving positions and a neutral non-driving position. In the first driving position the shifter mechanism directly connects the input shaft with one of the gear-wheels. In the second driving position the shifter mechanism indirectly connects the input shaft with the other gear-wheel through a transmission path which establishes a gear reduction ratio different from the gear ratio established by the direct connection.

  • Patent number: 7021661
Abstract: The structural platform (11) of the vehicle comprises two tanks (T1) and (T2) for the storage on a vehicle of fluids under pressure. Each tank comprises at least one network of cells (2) connected to one another via orifices (3), the orifices being conformed so that the flow of fluid caused by the consumption of fluid necessary for the use of the vehicle exhibits only pressure drops which do not affect the use, and being conformed so that, in the event of rupture of one or more cells (2), the leakage flow causes sufficiently large pressure drops to limit the flow thereof.

  • Publication number: 20040007406
Abstract: Traction chain for an automobile vehicle, comprising a wheel support (K) which supports a rotating hub designed to receive a drive wheel (W) and which realizes a rotation axis for the said drive wheel, a rotating toothed wheel (3) having the same rotation axis as that of the said drive wheel, the toothed wheel meshing directly with the hub, an arrangement comprising at least two gear-wheels permanently engaged with the said toothed wheel, comprising an electric motor (M), and comprising a gear ratio change mechanism with a neutral position between ratios, controlled by a fork which is itself controlled by a motorized reduction unit 12. The mechanism comprises a direct mesh between the input shaft and one of the gear wheels, and comprises at least one other mechanical transmission path with a different reduction ratio from the direct mesh between the input shaft and the other gear-wheel.
