  • Publication number: 20240033044
Abstract: A method includes wire driven phase in which a plurality of attachments are bonded to teeth, the attachments including a wire-retaining region and an engagement region. The engagement region has a shoulder configured to releasably engage a corresponding indentation in an aligner tray. An archwire is inserted in to the wire-retaining regions to move a first malaccluded tooth from a first position to a second position. An aligner phase follows the wire driven phase, in which the archwire is removed, and an aligner tray is applied over the teeth of the patient. The aligner tray includes cavities shaped to receive and resiliently position the first maloccluded tooth from the second position to a third position, and further includes indentations configured to releasably engage at least a portion of the engagement regions on the attachments.

  • Publication number: 20240033584
Abstract: A golf club with a multi-piece adjustable and interchangeable modular hosel system comprises a shaft tip connector portion, an upper hosel portion, and optional, intermediate interchangeable hosel adjustment spacer(s). The modular hosel system can be used, for example, with no spacers in place, or one or more risers in each of the hosel adjustability regions. The adjustment spacers can be used to increase the hosel length and shaft axis to head center of gravity offset or intersection. Angled risers can be oriented to adjust the shaft axis relative to club head orientation to fit and adjust specifications including loft and lie angle, alone or in combination. The modular hosel construction provides a quick and efficient means of fitting the putter specification to a large number of golfer requirements and also adjusting the specifications for changing user needs or course conditions.

  • Publication number: 20240032892
Abstract: A method is provided for determining one or more tissue boundaries within ultrasound image data of anatomical region. The method is based on generating two separate images from the same input ultrasound data, acquired in a single acquisition event. One image is generated with contrast enhancement, so that boundaries surrounding a fluid-containing region are especially well visible and, the second image is generated without this enhancement, or with a different enhancement so that boundaries surrounding tissue regions are especially well visible. An image segmentation procedure is then applied which uses a combination of both images as input and uses both to determine the boundaries within the imaged regions.

  • Publication number: 20240040307
Abstract: A clocking technique for reducing the power of PDM microphones in dual microphone systems is disclosed. A clock for a conventional PDM microphone (PDMCLK) is provided by another source. PDM microphones send serial data (PDMDAT) on the rising (“Right”) or falling (“Left”) edge of the PDMCLK clock, depending on how the microphone is configured. In a dual PDM microphone configuration, the microphones alternate sending data on the rising edges (transitions to logic-1) and falling edges (transitions to logic-0) of PDMCLK. Typically, Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) logic is used to transmit or drive the clock signal to the microphones. CMOS drivers consume power primarily when they transition from a logic-0 to a logic-1 or from a logic-1 to a logic-0. Thus, a free-running clock signal will produce the highest CMOS power consumption.
