  • Publication number: 20230145951
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for controlling gain of a single stage cascode FET amplifier are presented. According to one aspect, a series-connected resistor and capacitor is coupled to a gate of a cascode FET transistor of the amplifier, the capacitor providing a short at frequencies of operation of the amplifier. According to another aspect, values of the resistor can be used to control gain of the amplifier. According to yet another aspect, the resistor is a variable resistor whose value can be controlled/adjusted to provide different gains of the amplifier according to a linear function of the resistor value. An input matching network coupled to an input of the amplifier can be used to compensate for different noise figure degradations from different values of the resistor.

  • Publication number: 20230141964
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for multi-layer caching of data. An example method commences with creating a data structure on top of an information retrieval library. The data structure is designed to access data associated with the information retrieval library through a local index. The method includes creating a plurality of ordered cache layers for the data accessed via the local index. The plurality of ordered cache layers are ordered based on frequency of access and a last layer is used to access the data over a network. The method then continues with receiving a search query. The method further includes determining that the search query is for the data associated with the last layer. The method further continues with executing, using the local index, the search query locally to retrieve a matching document from the data associated with the last layer remotely.

  • Publication number: 20230147896
Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for large scale vehicle data collaborative analysis. According to one embodiment, a large amount of data streams is received from a multitude of vehicles. A distributed event streaming system is applied to parse the data streams based on an attribute, such as time sensitive data, location-specific data, or vehicle maintenance, operational, or fault-prevention data. A data container platform instance hosts applications that receive the parsed data streams. Output of an application is transformed into data streams having a common topic. Other applications may access the data streams by topic. Upon receiving an indication that an application has processed a data stream by topic, a decision point may be reached and executed by an external application, triggering an action on a vehicle from the multitude of vehicles. A vehicle computing system accesses topic data streams and performs an action on the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230148254
Abstract: A graphics processing unit (GPU) of a processing system transmits pixel data for a frame to a display in a compressed burst, so that the pixel data is communicated at a rate that is higher than the rate at which the display scans out the pixel data to refresh the frame at a display panel. By transmitting pixel data for the frame in a compressed burst, the GPU shortens the time spent transmitting the pixel data and extends the time before the next frame of pixel data is to be transmitted. During the extended time before the next frame of pixel data is to be transmitted, the GPU saves power by placing portions of the processing system in a reduced power mode.
