  • Patent number: 11509606
Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a network interface that includes an initiator device to determine a storage node associated with an access command based on an association between an address in the command and a storage node. The network interface can include a redirector to update the association based on messages from one or more remote storage nodes. The association can be based on a look-up table associating a namespace identifier with prefix string and object size. In some examples, the access command is compatible with NVMe over Fabrics. The initiator device can determine a remote direct memory access (RDMA) queue-pair (QP) lookup for use to perform the access command.

  • Patent number: 11504075
Abstract: Uptake of hypoxia-sensitive PET tracers is dependent on tissue transport properties, specifically, distribution volume. Variability in tissue transport properties reduces the sensitivity of static PET imaging to hypoxia. When tissue transport (vd) effects are substantial, correlations between the two methods of determining hypoxic fractions are greatly reduced—that is, trapping rates k3 are only modestly correlated with tumour-to-blood ratio (TBR). In other words, the usefulness of dynamic- and static-PET based hypoxia surrogates, trapping rate k3 and TBR, in determining hypoxic fractions is reduced in regions where diffusive equilibrium is achieved slowly. A process is provided for quantifying hypoxic fractions using a novel biomarker for hypoxia, hypoxia-sensitive tracer binding rate kb, based on PET imaging data. The same formalism can be applied to model the kinetics of non-binding CT and MT contrast agents, giving histopathological information about the imaged tissue.

  • Patent number: 11506823
Abstract: A wavefront sensor for determining a wavefront of an impinging light beam includes a microlens array formed by nanoimprint lithography. Each microlens of the microlens array includes a plurality of concentric ridges separated by concentric grooves. A ratio F of a width of the concentric ridges to a pitch p of the concentric ridges is a function of a radial distance r from a microlens center to the concentric ridges. An effective refractive index n of microlenses depends on a fill ratio of a binary pattern, which depends on the radial distance from the microlens center. A photodetector array is disposed downstream of the microlens array and configured for receiving the plurality of light spots at the focal plane. An imaging optical rangefinder includes the wavefront sensor, a pulsed light source for emitting probing pulses, and a photodetector for receiving reflected light pulses.

  • Patent number: 11506696
Abstract: Circuits for measuring a leakage current of one or more capacitors coupled to a power supply line that powers an apparatus, such as a storage device, are disclosed. In one embodiment, the circuit includes first and second resistors between the power supply line, and first and second respective switches to ground. A controller may charge the voltage line to a first voltage. Thereafter, the controller discharges the first voltage to a second voltage via the first resistor during a first identified time. After recharging the voltage line, the controller then discharge the first voltage to the second voltage via at least the second resistor during a second identified time. The controller determines the parasitic resistance using the first and second identified times, and then the leakage current from the parasitic resistance.

  • Patent number: 11508276
Abstract: In aspects of adaptive user interface display size for curved display edges, a wireless device has a display screen with curved display edges to display a user interface that includes selectable elements, which are selectable to initiate respective device application actions. The wireless device implements a display control module that can determine a display size of the user interface effective to prevent the selectable elements of the user interface from being displayed within a curved display edge of the display screen. The display control module can then resize the user interface according to the determined display size, and initiate to display the user interface on the display screen, where at least a portion of the user interface is displayable within the curved display edges of the display screen and without the selectable elements of the user interface being displayed within the curved display edge of the display screen.

  • Patent number: 11510038
Abstract: Techniques are described for provisioning Wi-Fi network connectivity for a wireless device without requiring a user to provide network credentials to allow the wireless device to establish a network connection. In some implementations, a method is performed by a computing device to provision a wireless network connection. A MAC address associated with a property is obtained. A temporary network credential for the wireless device is determined based on the MAC Address of the wireless device. The temporary network credential permits the wireless device to connect to a temporary network. The temporary network credential for the wireless device is available over the temporary network. A determination that the wireless device has connected to the temporary network using the temporary network credential for the wireless device is made. An instruction is transmitted to the wireless device over the temporary network in response to the determination.
