  • Publication number: 20210150468
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing attribute data for shipping and handling within a retail supply chain are disclosed. Item attributes of new items are recorded upon first receipt at a distribution center and are stored in a local database. This attribute data is synchronized to a centralized database. Data from the centralized database is pushed out to other distribution centers. The use of a centralized database of item attributes streamlines the process of inputting data for new items. This database is accessible by multiple systems with the supply chain to determine how the items should be processed. A pathfinding system utilizes item attribute data and facility data to determine a processing route for each item passing through a distribution facility.

  • Publication number: 20210150230
Abstract: A deep neural network(s) (DNN) may be used to detect objects from sensor data of a three dimensional (3D) environment. For example, a multi-view perception DNN may include multiple constituent DNNs or stages chained together that sequentially process different views of the 3D environment. An example DNN may include a first stage that performs class segmentation in a first view (e.g., perspective view) and a second stage that performs class segmentation and/or regresses instance geometry in a second view (e.g., top-down). The DNN outputs may be processed to generate 2D and/or 3D bounding boxes and class labels for detected objects in the 3D environment. As such, the techniques described herein may be used to detect and classify animate objects and/or parts of an environment, and these detections and classifications may be provided to an autonomous vehicle drive stack to enable safe planning and control of the autonomous vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20210145445
Abstract: Described are coordinated apparatus and methods for drug targeting, clearing the lumen, placing implants within the wall of, and stenting, as necessary, any tubular anatomical structure with single luminal entry. Miniature balls, or miniballs, are introduced into the wall aeroballistically from within the lumen, or small arcuate bands called stays inserted through the outer tunic by means of a hand tool. When miniballs must be placed too closely together to be controlled by hand, a positional control system assists in discharge. Implantation within or proximal to diseased tissue targeting, and thus concentrating the medication in that tissue, miniballs and stays can be used to deliver and controllably release multiple drugs, a radionuclide, or an open or closed loop smart-pill, for example. A glossary of terms follows the specification. Balance of abstract appended to the section entitled Summary of the Invention.

  • Publication number: 20210149649
Abstract: A method that includes obtaining, by an application executing on a computing system, a list of properties defining at least one property. The executing application writes an uncompiled class definition implementing a compiled interface and writes one or more properties of the compiled interface into the uncompiled class definition. The executing application writes the at least one property and at least one serialization attribute into the uncompiled class definition. The executing application causes the uncompiled class definition to be compiled, loads the compiled class definition, and creates an object by instantiating the compiled class definition. The object is serializable. The executing application may reflect on the compiled interface to obtain the one or more properties. Each of the one or more properties is strongly typed.
