Abstract: A wall-unit structural system has wall units (1) with insulating structural material (2) intermediate an exterior panel (3) for fixation of outside covering and an interior panel (4) for attachment of inside wall surfacing (5). Attachment ridges (6) are spaced apart on the interior panel to provide channels or vacancies between the attachment ridges for positioning of plumbing, electrical and other lines. Tie-down members (8) such as rebar are attached vertically to the wall units for securing the wall units to the footing (21) and for securing elevated tie-down structure (20) such as roofing and/or higher sections of wall units to secured wall units in accordance with applicable building regulations and design preferences. Bottoms (12) of the wall units have attachment members (15) for attachment to base elements such as floors (14), concrete pads, footers, metallic frame bases, wooden frame bases and other structural bases.

Abstract: A sub-soil injection device injects a soil additive, such as a pesticide, as included in a foam below the surface of soil. It concurrently distributes the foam into soil as the foam is injected resulting in an improved uniformity of distribution of soil additive in soil. The device comprises a tubular structure which mounts into the soil from a vehicle. It has first and second portions, leading and trailing portions, a lumen along its length, lateral portions and a plurality of spaced apart ports. Each port communicates the lumen with the trailing portion. Foam flowing out the ports moves backwardly. A shank structure precedes and shields the leading portion of the member. The shank structure has a forward-facing portion adapted to cut through soil. The shank structure and member are motivated by the vehicle in a forward direction through the soil. An apparatus utilizing the shank structure, the vehicle and a foam generator and a method of depositing a soil additive plowing in of foam are also set forth.

Abstract: A rock bit is disclosed having a plurality of rolling cone cutters each having a gage row of inserts oriented to face the borehole bottom for crushing the same, and a second row of heel gage inserts which are oriented to face the borehole sidewall for scraping the same, heel inserts are nestled within the profile of the gage inserts in order to alleviate most of the scraping action normally encountered by gage inserts.

Abstract: A sealed bearing roller cone rock bit is disclosed having precision roller bearings with very close fits. The bearing package includes highly refined and hardened surface finishes, special roller bearing metal materials and lubricants with specific lube viscosities.
