Patent number: 9780600Abstract: A wireless charging unit for a mobile device unit. The wireless charging unit may include an interface surface for the mobile device unit to be positioned upon, and a power transmitter device configured to transmit power wirelessly to the mobile device unit when the mobile device unit is positioned upon the interface surface to charge the mobile device unit. A switch may be electrically coupled to a power connector plug and configured to disable reception of power by the power connector plug from a power outlet in response to a sensor circuit detecting that the mobile device unit has been removed from the interface surface to a distance.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2015Date of Patent: October 3, 2017Assignee: SUPERIOR COMMUNICATIONS, INC.Inventors: Samuel Sentosa, David P. Patent number: 8836282Abstract: A battery charger including a converter unit, a terminal adaptor, a cable, a battery, and/or multiple power connectors. A terminal, such as an electronic device, can be connected to the converter unit using the cable or directly to the converter unit without the cable. The converter unit determines when to draw power from an external power and when to cease drawing power from the external power source by detecting a power enablement condition or a power disablement condition. The power disablement condition occurs when the terminal is fully charged, the terminal is disconnected from the converter unit, and/or a charge time of the terminal exceeds the predetermined charge time threshold. The power enablement condition occurs when the terminal is initially connected to the converter unit and/or the terminal needs to be charged. The battery supplies power to components of the converter unit and/or the terminal.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2014Date of Patent: September 16, 2014Assignee: Superior Communications, Inc.Inventors: George Chen, Harry Mkhitarian, Samuel Sentosa, David P. Patent number: 6446289Abstract: An inflatable mattress capable of being folded or rolled into a small compact unit and unfolded or unrolled to a relatively flat or partially contoured body supporting condition. The mattress is comprised of an inner foam core of the type capable of being rolled or folded. An outer flexible and foldable fabric cover surrounds the foam core. Moreover, air spaces are formed in the foam core to allow a self-inflating when a valve on the mattress is opened. The mattress is air impervious and will remain inflated when the valve is closed. This construction also allows a deflating when the mattress is compressed and the valve is again opened. The mattress is characterized in that the major part of the upper surface area is provided with a plurality of closely spaced apart recesses formed in both the cover and the foam core and thereby define corresponding raised portions or projections between each of the recesses.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 1998Date of Patent: September 10, 2002Inventors: David P.
