  • Patent number: 12367068
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system and a method for ensuring high availability and guarantee delivery of event streams to target consumer applications. The distributed event streaming platform of the present invention is provided with an event streaming layer comprising a plurality of independent and non-replicating event streaming clusters that are configured to process events received from a producer module. A monitoring module is provided to monitor the propagation and delivery of each propagated event based on event notifications received from an event producer module and a plurality of the consumer modules.

  • Publication number: 20160239765
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for processing database query results. Query results are retrieved from a database of travel itineraries based on search criteria provided by a traveler, and a subset of travel itineraries selected from the search results based on a composite profile. The traveler may identify which travel itineraries of the subset they prefer, and the result of this selection used to update a probabilistic profile of the traveler. The search results may be re-ranked using an updated composite profile, and a new subset of travel itineraries selected based on the re-ranking The traveler may indicate which travel itinerary is preferred from the new subset, and the probabilistic profile updated based thereon. The process of re-ranking search results and updating the probabilistic profile may be repeated until successive sets of ranked results match each other.

  • Publication number: 20160125054
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for processing schedule data for conversion to standardized schedule data. Non-standardized schedule data is determined from a schedule database. A plurality of schedule data points associated with the non-standardized schedule data are determined. Geographical coordinates for each of the schedule data points are determined. A plurality of standardized schedule data points that are associated with the non-standardized schedule data are determined based at least in part on the geographical coordinates of each of the schedule data points. The non-standardized schedule data is converted to the standardized schedule data for storage in a standardized schedule database based at least in part on the plurality of standardized data points.

  • Patent number: 7983939
Abstract: In a method for automatically mapping a cabin and travel class structure of an disrupted flight into replacement flights, cabin and travel class structure of the disrupted flight are retrieved. For each affected passenger, a base disrupted flight is determined from the passenger itinerary. For the disruption period, cabin and travel class structure of the replacement flights are split into sub-periods. For each sub-period, mapping begins by establishing a direct match between cabin and travel class structures. The direct match is validated against actual cabin and travel class structure of the replacement flights, including pinpointing all found discrepancies. All class matching tables (CMTs) applying to the disrupted flight and disruption period considered are retrieved from a rule repository. Cabin and travel class structure of the replacement flights are further split in sub-periods to imbed the actual validity periods of retrieved CMTs. Rules of the retrieved CMTs resolve all found discrepancies.
