  • Publication number: 20240085898
Abstract: A method for verifying and/or validating whether a technical system fulfills a desired criterion. The technical system emits output signals based on input signals supplied to the technical system. The method includes: obtaining models for a plurality of components of the technical system; obtaining a plurality of validation measurements; for each component, training a machine learning model to predict outputs of the respective component; obtaining first test outputs from a last model based on test input; determining, second test outputs from the machine learning model corresponding to the last model and based on the test inputs of the models; determine a deviation which characterizes a difference between first test outputs determined from the last model and second test outputs determined by the machine learning model corresponding to the last model; verifying and/or validating whether the technical system fulfills the criterion.

Abstract: A method for verifying and/or validating whether a technical system fulfills a desired criterion. The technical system emits output signals based on input signals supplied to the technical system. The method includes: obtaining models for a plurality of components comprised by the technical system; obtaining a plurality of validation measurements; for each component, training a machine learning model to predict measurement outputs of the respective component based on inputs of the respective component; obtaining first test outputs from a last model based on test inputs; determining second test outputs from the machine learning model corresponding to the last model and based on the test inputs of the models; determining a discrepancy; verifying and/or validating whether the technical system fulfills the criterion.

  • Patent number: 11924521
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing delivery of content to client devices of a network via both multicast and unicast mechanisms. In one embodiment, a system for use in a managed content delivery network is described to bridge multicast to unicast, so that the total network bandwidth consumption is significantly lower than a corresponding unicast-only delivery solution, yet which still provides improved quality of service and user viewing experience as compared to a multicast-only delivery solution. In addition, various exemplary aspects of the present disclosure are readily adapted for real-time multicast to unicast streaming of audio and data to, among other things, minimize network bandwidth usage, while maintaining the guaranteed delivery of unicast streams with little or no modification to the existing client device logic.

  • Publication number: 20240073491
Abstract: A streaming service updates a manifest to include a location of an encoded version of a program that is available for streaming and a restriction marker indicating that the program is restricted. A request for the manifest is received from a client device. Subsequent to providing the manifest to the client device, a request for authorization to stream the program is received from the client device, the request for authorization including client device metadata. Based on the client device metadata and blackout metadata associated with the program, it is determined that the client device is not authorized to stream the program. The streaming service sends, to the client device, slate information that identifies a slate image to be presented by the client device in lieu of the program.

  • Patent number: 11911128
Abstract: A mote includes an optical receiver that wirelessly receives a power and data signal in form of NIR light energy within a patient and converts the NIR light energy to an electrical signal having a supply voltage. A control module supplies the supply voltage to power devices of the mote. A clock generation circuit locks onto a target clock frequency based on the power and data signal and generates clock signals. A data recovery circuit sets parameters of one of the devices based on the power and data signal and a first clock signal. An amplifier amplifies a neuron signal detected via an electrode inserted in tissue of the patient. A chip identifier module, based on a second clock signal, generates a recorded data signal based on a mote chip identifier and the neuron signal. A driver transmits the recorded data signal via a LED or a RF transmitter.
