Patent number: 11974418Abstract: This document describes a light-sealing gasket with crossbar force distribution. The gasket can be used in an electronic device with a sensor package that is capable of transmitting and receiving signals and is positioned behind a display of the device. The gasket provides a shield between the receive signals and the transmit signals, prevents signal crosstalk, and protects the delicate panel layer of the display. Use of this gasket in an electronic device allows manufacturers to add more features to the device and enrich the user experience.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2021Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Google LLCInventors: David I. Publication number: 20210181790Abstract: A reversible display band is used to provide a reconfigurable display that can be worn by athletes. The reversible band has a band, a strap, a flap, and a pair of mounting panels. The band is a flexible strip of material and the strap is used to detachably mate the two ends of the band. The mounting panels are fastening systems that enable a user to attach any number of patches and other visual indicators to the display band. To facilitate this functionality, the mounting panels are laterally attached to opposite sides if the band. The flap is mounted along a lengthwise edge of the band so that the user can lay the flap over whichever mounting panel the user wants to be obscured. The user then attaches the display band to themselves and the unobscured mounting panel is presented for visual inspection.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2019Publication date: June 17, 2021Inventor: David Patrick Jones

Patent number: 10645994Abstract: A sole assembly for an article of footwear has a first portion having a lower ground engaging surface, an upper surface, and a recess formed in the upper surface. A second portion is seated in the recess in the first portion and has an upper surface. The second portion is formed from a first foam material prepared by a reaction product of a composition having about 10 to about 100 phr of a hydrogenated copolymer and about 10 to about 90 phr of a copolymer of ethlylene and an alpha olefin, the alpha olefin having up to 20 carbon atoms. The first foam material has a hardness of 25 to 45 Asker C and a density of less than 0.18 g/cm3.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2017Date of Patent: May 12, 2020Assignee: NIKE, Inc.Inventors: Eric P. Avar, Daniel Despain, Kevin W. Hoffer, David Patrick Jones, Denis Schiller, Sui-Chieh Yu
