  • Publication number: 20080015930
Abstract: A method of managing renewals of subscriptions for the parking of vehicles in a geographical zone in which parking is regulated with pay-and-display machines that are installed therein. According to the invention, a person first obtains a subscription from a parking management operator for authorization to park one or more vehicles for a first determined period. The subscriber and the vehicle(s) are identified by identification elements which are recorded in a database of a central subscription management server (8) and parking is controlled by a control officer. In order to renew a subscription for a new period, the subscriber presents himself/herself at one (1) of the pay-and-display machines which communicates with the server (8), identifies himself/herself using the subscriber identification elements (2) and renews the subscription with the aid of the pay-and-display machine (1).
