  • Publication number: 20250118774
Abstract: A cylindrical reactor for a flow battery includes a solid anode body with through-holes through which hollow membrane tubes extend. The hollow membrane tubes surround cathodic wires. A first electrolyte is pumped in from a first electrolyte tank between the cathodic wires and the hollow membrane tubes, while a second electrolyte is pumped in from a second electrolyte tank between the hollow membrane tubes and the surrounding portion of the solid anode body. Redox half reactions between the first electrolyte and the second electrolyte are thereby able to happen across the hollow membrane tubes.

  • Patent number: 12239870
Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting resistance on an exercise apparatus include a first resistance apparatus having an adjusting bracket, magnetic members mounted on an inner surface of the adjusting bracket, a stepper motor having an adjusting shaft and operable to traverse a portion of the length of the adjusting shaft. At a first position, the magnetic members are disposed above a flywheel, and in a second position, the magnetic members are disposed on opposite sides of the flywheel, providing resistance thereto. A load cell couples the adjusting bracket to the frame and generates a signal corresponding to the movement of the adjusting bracket. A computing system calculates resistance, rpms, power from load cell signal, stepper motor position, shaft rotational position and other sensor inputs.

  • Patent number: 12239650
Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds with high chemical stability and methods for inhibiting the pathological activity of NETs in a subject. In particular, the invention relates to compounds with high chemical stability, uses thereof and methods for inhibiting or ameliorating NET mediated ailments (such as, for example, sepsis, systemic immune response syndrome (SIRS) and ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI)). More particularly, the invention relates to methods and uses of a polyanionic sulfated cellobioside modified with a small uncharged glycosidically linked substituent at its reducing terminus, wherein the presence of the substituent results in a molecule with high chemical stability without affecting the ability of the molecule to be effective in the therapy of NET mediated ailments. For example, the present invention relates to methods and uses of ?-O-methyl cellobioside sulfate (mCBS) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (e.g., mCBS.

  • Publication number: 20250053594
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems of metadata management for reviewing data from microscopy experimental sessions. Image data from an experimental session is stored in an archive at one or more filepath locations, either locally or on a network. Metadata associated with the image data is stored in a database with a reference to the filepath where the raw image is stored, such that the metadata is associated in the database with the image data. A user can perform post-experimental filtering, sorting, and searching of the underlying image data using the metadata, which allows the image data to be analyzed without duplication of the image data and without manual review of each individual image. The filtered data is presented in an interactive timeline format.
