  • Publication number: 20220139517
Abstract: A service to coordinate the care of patients who are on a REMS-required medication. The service implements a monitoring hub for coordinating the work between a clinician, pharmacy, and laboratory in the care of a patient. The patient has blood samples tested for safety monitoring. The monitoring hub performs the task of entering the test results . . . into the REMS database. The monitoring hub has qualified personnel who are enrolled in the REMS program as a prescriber designee for the clinician. The prescriber designee works with the clinician, pharmacy, or laboratory to ensure compliance with the REMS requirements. In addition to providing administrative support for REMS compliance, the service could be an integrated care management system that assists patients/families and providers with other aspects of their care and practice needs.

  • Publication number: 20030108938
Abstract: The present invention relates to computer systems and methods for clinical trials for linking biological information including genomic and proteomic information to the conduct and success of the clinical trial process for therapeutic agents. In particular, the present invention relates to computer systems and methods of analyzing genotypes, clinical phenotypes, and clinical trial requirements for providing recommendations for conduct of various phases of clinical trial process. The system may include a genotype database, a clinical database, clinical trial requirements database, an analytical computer, a recommended trial database, a blood bank, and sequencing machines.

  • Publication number: 20030104453
Abstract: The present invention relates to computer systems and methods of analyzing an association between genotypes and adverse drug events for providing personalized medical advice and pharmacogenomic therapy based on patients personal genetic make-up. According to one embodiment, the present invention may create a patient interface for pharmacogenetic studies targeting adverse events and to a database system which allows for application of genetic risk factors for a specific adverse event to a population who might be candidates for specific drug treatment. According to another embodiment, the present invention may provide assistance and guidance in managing and minimizing risk of adverse events utilizing a pharmacogenetic process.
