  • Patent number: 9332808
Abstract: A shoe includes a sole having a plurality of cleats thereon at spaced apart locations. The cleats are configured to enhance the performance of the shoe based upon the specific characteristics of movement of the user. The cleats may include differently configured first and second cleats. Each first cleat includes at least one first directional pattern and each second cleat includes at least one second directional pattern. Individual cleats and methods of assembling and designing a shoe are also provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 11, 2011
Date of Patent: May 10, 2016
    Assignee: Position Tech, LLC
Inventors: Erek Benz, David Pickard, Daniel T. Nicholson, Christian D. Anderson

  • Publication number: 20080217843
Abstract: A plasterboard wedge has an acute edge that is sufficiently thin to be inserted between the edges of consecutive plasterboard sheets arranged in a stack. The wedge is then pressed into the stack to form a gap on both lateral sides of the wedge into which the forks of a fork-lift can be inserted. The fork-lift can then lift the desired number of plasterboard sheets off the stack onto a vehicle. A tip of one of the fork-lift forks is used to press the wedge into the stack, and is located in a horizontal groove in the blunt face to prevent relative vertical slipping.

  • Patent number: 6526299
Abstract: An elastic scattering spectrum taken from human tissue is taken and preprocessed by dividing the absorption spectrum into a plurality of wavelength ranges and fitting the measured absorption spectrum to the absorption of predetermined absorption components in some fitting ranges and to a smooth function, such as a straight line, in the remainder of the fitting ranges. The absorption components may include, for example, haemoglobin.
