  • Publication number: 20100186322
Abstract: A modular fenestration system includes a collection of standardized functional units such as double hung window units, casement window units, picture window units, transom units, and the like. The functional units all share common sightlines, common glass set-back, common interfaces, common design language, and are sized according to a unique modular or incremental sizing grid. The sizing grid specifies individual window units in terms of the rough opening size in which they are designed to be installed. Individual functional units are easily combinable in a vast array of combinations to create a large number of possible composite window units. The above attributes of the functional units ensures that the composite window units are architecturally pleasing and appear as though they were custom crafted.

  • Publication number: 20070199073
Abstract: A machine-executable method implementable in a system operable to execute a browser application having at least one security-context zone and operable to apply at least one security policy to interaction between the system and web sites corresponding to domain identifiers populating the at least one security-context zone includes comparing a first set of domain identifiers populating a first security-context zone of the at least one security-context zone with a second set of domain identifiers. The method further includes populating the first security-context zone with at least one second-set identifier not included in the first set of domain identifiers.

  • Publication number: 20070199072
Abstract: A method executable in a system having a security mechanism that determines access by an application to system resources based on a security context in which the application is run includes receiving definitions of a plurality of security contexts. Each security context provides access to a respective set of the system resources. An association of each application of a plurality of applications with a respective one of the security contexts is received from the user. A first one of the applications is run subject to a first associated security context.

  • Publication number: 20070199057
Abstract: A method of controlling the access by an application to system resources includes accessing data related to access by the application to at least one of the system resources. A request to run the application is received. A first access token is created and has a first set of attributes that enable access to at least one of the system resources and that are selected based on the data. The first token is based on a second access token having a second set of the attributes. The first-set attributes are fewer in number than the second-set attributes. The first token is then associated with the application.

  • Publication number: 20060248160
Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a first network address and from a first client device of a plurality of client devices, an identifier of a second network address. In response to receiving the identifier from the first client device, first content corresponding to the second network address is provided to the first client device. Second content from the first client device is received at the first network address. The identifier is received at the first network address and from a second client device of the plurality of client devices. In response to receiving the identifier from the second client device, the second content is provided to the second client device.

  • Patent number: 5985429
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition comprising a polymer, a short and a long fiber composite that can be used in the form of a linear extrudate or thermoplastic pellet to manufacture structural members. The linear extrudate or pellet can have a cross-section of any arbitrary shape, or can be a regular geometric. The polymer and short/long fiber composite containing structural members can be manufactured from the composite or pellet in an extrusion process or an injection molding process. The pellet can have a cross-section shape having a volume of at least about 12 mm.sup.3. Preferably the pellet is a right cylindrical pellet having a minimum radius of about 1.5 mm and a minimum length of 1 mm weighing at least 14 mg. The initial mixing step before extrusion of the composite material insures substantial mixing and melt contact between molten polymer and wood fiber. The extruded pellet comprises a consistent proportion of polymer, short and long fiber and water.
