Publication number: 20220414520Abstract: There is provided a method and system for training an embedding model to perform relation predictions in a knowledge hypergraph to output a trained embedding model. A training dataset comprising tuples representing relations between entities in the knowledge hypergraph are received. The embedding model is trained to perform relation predictions for each given tuple from a subset of tuples in the training dataset by generating a respective entity vector for each entity and a respective relation matrix representing relations between the entities. The entity vectors and relation matrix are split into a plurality of windows, and interaction values between elements in each window are calculated. A relation score indicative of the relation in the given tuple being true is calculated. Parameters of the embedding model are updated based on the relation scores for the subset of tuples. The trained embedding model is then output.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2021Publication date: December 29, 2022Applicant: SERVICENOW CANDA INC.Inventors: Perouz TASLAKIAN, David VAZQUEZ BERMUDEZ, David POOLE, Bahare FATEMI

Patent number: 11492124Abstract: A retention system for an aircraft seat dress cover defines a cable channel sewn around the periphery of a back portion. A cable in the cable channel is tightened to tighten the aircraft seat dress cover around an aircraft seat back. Adjustable buckles at terminals of the cable interlock and allow the cable to be tightened. A midpoint strap is disposed on opposing sides of the periphery to allow the aircraft seat dress cover to more fully conform to the structure of the aircraft seat.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2021Date of Patent: November 8, 2022Assignee: B/E Aerospace, Inc.Inventors: Robert Ashby, David Poole, Joseph Meals, Andrew Mooney, Michael Kreitz, Adam Brown, Mack Thomas Moore, David Genco, Gregory Bonomo, Zakarya Peterson

Patent number: 11247240Abstract: Methods and systems for achieving higher efficiencies and capacities in sorting feed material are described herein, such as for separating desirable “good” rock or ore from undesirable “bad” rock or ore in an unsegregated, unseparated stream of feed material. In the disclosure, higher efficiencies are achieved with combinations of multiple sensor/diverter cells in stages in a cascade arrangement. The number and combination of cells in the cascade may be determined through a priori characterization of probabilities involved in sensor/rock and rock/diverter interactions, and mathematical determinations of the optimal number and combination of stages based on this probability. Further, as disclosed herein, desired sorting capacities are achieved through addition of multiple cascades in parallel until the desired sorting capacity is reached.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2018Date of Patent: February 15, 2022Assignee: MineSense Technologies Ltd.Inventors: Andrew Sherliker Bamber, Andrew Csinger, David Poole

Publication number: 20220005077Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments receiving a notification of actions, determining a potential bias metric for the actions in response to analyzing the actions using a machine learning application, determining the potential bias metric for the actions is above a potential bias threshold for the actions, and adjusting the actions to mitigate potential bias in the actions according to the potential bias metric being above the potential bias threshold using the machine learning application. Further embodiments can include determining a potential bias metric for the adjusted actions in response to analyzing the adjusted actions using the machine learning application, determining the potential bias metric for the adjusted actions is below the potential bias threshold for the actions, and providing a notification that indicates to implement the adjusted actions. Other embodiments are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 2, 2020Publication date: January 6, 2022Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Balachander Krishnamurthy, Subhabrata Majumdar, Ritwik Mitra, David Poole

Patent number: 10958782Abstract: Software downloads to Internet of things (IoT) devices are facilitated over a constrained network. In one embodiment a method comprises monitoring, by a network device comprising a processor, data determined to have been sent to a device for transmission to the device via a radio access network device of a wireless communication network, and determining, by the network device, a type of traffic associated with the data. The method further includes based on a determination that the data comprises firmware and that the type of traffic is of a traffic priority that is lower than a defined traffic priority, applying, by the network device, a low priority transport protocol to the data, wherein the applying comprises associating protocol information with the data representative of the low priority transport protocol.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2019Date of Patent: March 23, 2021Assignee: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventors: Lien Tran, Simon Byers, Carlos Eduardo De Andrade, David Poole, Emir Halepovic, Vijay Gopalakrishnan, Christopher Volinsky

Patent number: 10736413Abstract: A workpiece, such as a brush head, having a replacement indicator is provided, which is suitable for use with a personal care appliance. In use, the replacement indicator can provide an indication to the user recommending that the brush head be replaced after a duration has elapsed. The brush head includes a window to view the progress of the duration for recommended replacement and an indication when the duration has elapsed. In some embodiments, the duration is commenced when the brush head is initially installed on the personal care appliance.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2017Date of Patent: August 11, 2020Assignee: L'OrealInventors: Gerald Keith Brewer, Joel Timothy Aragon, Aaron David Poole, Robert E.
