  • Publication number: 20040260329
Abstract: A catheter and guide wire exchange system including a catheter having a guide wire lumen with a guide way extending along the length of a stiffened proximal shaft portion, and a guide member slidably disposed about the proximal shaft for directing a guide wire into or out of the guide way and the guide wire lumen. The proximal shaft may be slid through the guide member so that the guide wire is contained within the guide wire lumen distal to the guide member and with the guide wire and catheter being separated proximal of the guide member. The guide member has a decoupled body, that allows it to be rotated without affecting the guidewire direction through the guidemember.

  • Patent number: 6815399
Abstract: A plugging fluid for plugging a subterranean formation zone surrounding a drill hole consisting of an emulsion comprising an oil phase containing an oil, an emulsifier and 2.4 to 4 kg of cement per liter of oil and an aqueous phase containing water and 12-16 g of polysaccharide per liter of water, wherein the oil to water volume ratio ranges from 20:80 to 25:75. Upon shearing, the emulsion inverts so that the rupture of the emulsion droplets releases the cement into the water phase thus providing metallic divalent ion to crosslink with the polysaccharide and forming a gel structure.

  • Publication number: 20040049473
Abstract: One aspect of the present invention relates to methods and systems that utilize harvested data to predict results, populate predictive models, and allow decisions to be made. Internal structured data is grouped into items of interest and an event of interest is tagged. Data including unstructured and structured data is harvested, and the harvested data is analyzed to determine whether a predictive model exists between the harvested data and the selected group. A mathematical signature is computed based upon the external data in order to establish the predictive model. Thus the harvested information may be used to build, modify, or test predictive models of internal results based upon external events.

  • Patent number: 6157689
Abstract: The speed of asynchronous serial communications is detected by determining a duration of a data bit within an asynchronous data stream. The duration of the data bit is used to generate a clock frequency. The clock frequency is used to clock data from the asynchronous data stream into a register. The clocked data is processed according to an error indication.

  • Patent number: 4417524
Abstract: For use in a modular cabinet or the like system wherein one or more cabinet modules of unit width have rolling mobility along parallel rails which extend normal to the module-width dimension and at module-width spacing, the invention contemplates a floor-mountable track system of rigid interconnected modular rail and spacer members adapted to provide permanent guided support of one or more modules without anchorage to the supporting floor, whereby the system can be readily moved, rearranged, expanded or otherwise modified, without damage to or modification of the supporting floor. The invention also contemplates novel modular rollable base structure particularly applicable to the tiered support of cabinet modules on such a track system.

  • Patent number: 3975071
Abstract: A file cabinet construction includes at least one shelf mounted within a housing having parellel opposed side walls and a rear wall. A number of guide rails are mounted at predetermined positions along the shelf so that they are parallel to the side walls of the housing. Each guide rail has a longitudinal slot extending into the guide rail from the end located nearest to the rear wall of the housing and terminating at a point adjacent to the forward edge of the shelf. A boxlike container which includes opposed parallel longitudinal sides and a bottom having a longitudinal channel is detachably mounted on each guide by a floating pin. The floating pin is mounted so that the longitudinal axis of the pin is transverse to the channel in the bottom of each container.
