  • Patent number: 7873376
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed in which a Mobile Terminated SMS (Short Message Service) wireless message generated by a Computer Application containing an embedded response menu can be sent to a Mobile Handset and in which a Mobile Originated response from the Mobile Handset can be uniquely re-associated with the original Mobile Terminated message is described. Given that SMS provides no inherent association between Mobile Terminated and Mobile Originated messages, the method and system provide a scheme in which the original Computer Application menu response options are remapped to unique values prior to delivery to the Mobile Handset. When the response is received from the Mobile Handset, the method can uniquely re-associate and reverse map the response code back to the original Mobile Terminated message and original menu response options.

  • Publication number: 20040006601
Abstract: An optimized persistent messaging method and system repeatedly attempts delivery of a message by alternate delivery services that are capable of delivering a message if delivery by an initial delivery service fails, until either delivery is successful or else attempted delivery by all the delivery services has failed. The optimized persistent messaging method and system also prioritizes delivery services that are capable of delivering a message according to prioritization criteria from a variety of possible sources. The optimized persistent messaging method and system repeatedly attempts delivery beginning with the highest ranked delivery service and descending down a prioritized list of delivery services, until either delivery is successful or else attempted delivery by all the delivery services has failed.

  • Patent number: 6347340
Abstract: A system to convert a network message into a wireless transport message includes a network-to-wireless transformation database with a message configuration table. An expansion agent processes a network message received from a computer network and information from the message configuration table to create a wireless transport message. The wireless transport message specifies attributes to facilitate the delivery of the network message to a wireless device. The attributes include a selected wireless message transport protocol and a selected wireless message transport conduit.

  • Patent number: 5111413
Abstract: A simulation system for circuit design is disclosed. The system couples a schematic editor and simulator to allow incremental changes to a design under test without requiring prior shutdown of the simulator. The system uses a method which permits a wide range of changes to the design and provides a resulting netlist for the changed design. Changes can be made to the schematic which include changes in hierarchy, addition or deletion of components (including hierarchical components), addition or deletion of signals at any level within the design hierarchy, addition or deletion of interconnections of components at any level of hierarchy within the design, addition and deletion of interface ports for any component type, substitution of a new component for an existing one (including swapping hierarchical and behavioral descriptions), and alteration of parametric data such as device delay timing. The simulation continues to run after design changes are made.
