  • Patent number: 11838311
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for identifying and remediating potential threat vectors in a system, such as containers or applications in a virtual or cloud computing environment. Attributes of potential threat vectors may be identified, and the potential threat vectors may be scored based on the attributes. Values or scores of individual attributes may be determined through machine learning or other suitable techniques. Scores exceeding a threshold may indicate that a remedial measure should be performed. A remedial measure may be identified using machine learning or other suitable techniques. After the remedial measure is performed, the threat vector may be scored again, and a machine learning model may be refined based on whether the remedial measure was successful.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: December 5, 2023
Assignee: Verizon Patent and Licensing Inc.

  • Patent number: 8495746
Abstract: This disclosure details the implementation of apparatuses, methods and systems of an application security management platform (hereinafter, “ASMP”). ASMP systems may, in one embodiment, implement a live platform on a computerized system, whereby the platform may receive security data associated with a running application from multiple security tacking systems, evaluate the security performance of the application, generate an application security summary report for review and manage review processes for security professionals.

  • Patent number: 6510464
Abstract: A computer system provides authenticated access for a client computer over an insecure, public network to one of a plurality of destination servers on private, secure network, through the use of a client-side X.509 digital certificate. A firewall is disposed between the insecure, public network and the private network. A demilitarized zone (DMZ) proxy server intercepts messages destined for the destination servers, and forwards the intercepted messages through the firewall to a gateway on the private network. The gateway is configured to create a cookie, based on the selection of one of a several applications available on the private network. The cookie contains an identifier sufficient to identify the destination server corresponding to the selected application. Messages from the client computer include the cookie. The gateway processes the cookie and appends the identifier on a destination URL portion of the messages for routing.
