  • Patent number: 8008082
Abstract: A method and system for switching the dispensing of a first solution from a first vessel to dispensing a second solution from a second vessel when a parameter of the first solution crosses a threshold is described. In one embodiment, a fluid dispensing apparatus includes a first vessel and a second vessel. The first vessel includes an output conduit adapted to dispense the first solution from the first vessel into a fluid receiving region. The second vessel includes an output conduit adapted to dispense the second solution from the second vessel into the fluid receiving region. The apparatus includes a first sensor positioned to measure a parameter of the first solution before the first fluid enters the fluid receiving region. The apparatus also includes a second sensor positioned to measure a parameter of the second solution before the second solution enters the fluid receiving region.

  • Patent number: 6325286
Abstract: A chemical dispensing system features a card reader in data communication with a controller to programmably control the transfer of chemicals between a supply of chemicals and a washing chamber while allowing retention of a permanent record of the programmed status of the controller.

  • Patent number: 6299066
Abstract: A marked card reader having a lensless optical detection system with fixed angle illumination and detection, the sensitivity of which is independent of the frequency response associated therewith. The optical detection system includes a radiation source to produce radiation and a radiation detector. A target plane is positioned so that the radiation source directs radiation toward the target plane. The detection source is positioned to sense radiation reflected from the target plane. An optically opaque body is positioned between the optical detector and the radiation source to prevent incident radiation from be sensed by the optical detector.

  • Patent number: 5826749
Abstract: The present invention relates to dispensing chemicals from a multiplexed group of chemicals and delivering the chemicals to a multiplexed set of industrial washers. An input multiplexer operatively couples a selected system input tube to a chemical pump, thereby permitting a selected liquid chemical to be pumped from a chemical container through the chemical delivery system to a selected washer.

  • Patent number: 5448115
Abstract: Improved timing circuits (205), charge dispensing circuits (213,215), and methods and systems (100) for operation of warewashing equipment. According to one aspect of the invention the system operates on both door and conveyor types of machines. The system dispenses both an initial charge amount and a dose amount during normal operations. In door types of systems, only a single power/signal connection (109) needs to be made to the dispensing system; in one embodiment the warewash rinse power connection. Further, the system can dispense detergent at an interval of greater than once per cycle or operation.
