  • Publication number: 20150089357
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to systems and methods for document redaction. The disclosed techniques adapt to the needs of different levels of data sensitivity and different needs for disclosure or analysis by using pre-defined templates related to use cases, and mapping those to the relative sensitivity of private data types both in their natural form and after redaction by various redaction types. In this way, data is given the appropriate level of protection within the needs of a given use case.

  • Publication number: 20150040237
Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems and methods for interactive creation of privacy safe documents. In aspects, an online document processing system can be configured to include a text editor with a set of privacy controls. The text editor can interact with a remote privacy engine to scan an original document entered by a user, to seamlessly detect potentially sensitive data such as medical information contained in that document as it is entered. When potentially sensitive data is identified, for instance by checking the entered content, data fields or formats of a Web form, the privacy engine can generate text substitution data to transmit to the text editor. Potentially sensitive data, such as social security numbers or other personal or private identifiers, can therefore be masked redacted to export to Web sites, users or services without exposing potentially sensitive data.

  • Publication number: 20150032724
Abstract: A first embodiment of the disclosure relates to a method for responding to a message posted in a social media stream. The method includes monitoring a social media site for at least one message including select subject matter. In response to identifying a message, the method includes collecting a series of exchanges that form a conversational thread including the message. The method includes determining at least one content attribute of the message. The method includes classifying the message using at least one key attribute. The method includes searching a database for a reference message using a combination of the at least one content and key attributes. The method includes determining a previous outcome of a reference thread including the reference message. The method includes using the previous outcome for determining a course of action.

  • Publication number: 20150012550
Abstract: Systems and methods of analyzing message data. An embodiment is a method of analyzing message data including a plurality of messages associated with one or more users. The method is performed using a computing system comprising a computer storage medium and a computer processor. The system parses each message of the plurality of messages to identify a plurality of message segments. The system assigns the message segments to the one or more users. The assignment is based at least in part on a determination of whether each message of the plurality of messages is a reply message. The segments of the message are assigned to a reply user if the message is determined to be a reply message. The system applies a statistical model to the assigned message segments, to determine predicted locations for the users. The system outputs the predicted locations for the users.

  • Publication number: 20140337320
Abstract: Systems and methods of data analytics, which in various embodiments enable business analysts to apply certain machine learning and analytics algorithms in a self-service manner by binding them to generic business questions that they can be used to answer in particular domains. The general approach may be to define the application of an algorithm to solve specific problems (questions) for particular combinations of a business domain and a data category. At design time, the algorithm may be linked to canonical data within a data category and programmed to run with this canonical data set. At runtime, given a dataset and its category, and a business domain, a user may choose from the corresponding questions and the system may run the algorithm bound to that question.

  • Publication number: 20120265643
Abstract: A method of processing a specification may include receiving, by a home site, information regarding a search for at least one good or service, automatically generating, by the home site, a specification comprising a command block, an origin block and a routing block, based on the received information, and transmitting, by the home site, the specification to the one or more destination marketplaces. One or more of the command block, the origin block and the routing block may include one or more domain-specific language instructions. The command block may include one or more instructions defining the search and one or more instructions defining one or more actions to perform with respect to results of the search. The origin block may include information identifying the home site. The routing block comprises information identifying one or more destination marketplaces.
