  • Patent number: 11931845
Abstract: In an example, a system is disclosed. The system comprises a one-piece mandrel, a fuselage coupled to the one-piece mandrel, and a strongback apparatus positioned on the fuselage. The strongback apparatus comprises an arcuate central body comprising a front end, a rear end, and a plurality of elongated members that connect the front end to the rear end, and actuators mounted to the plurality of elongated members. The actuators are configured to move in a radially outward direction from extended positions to retracted positions and comprise (i) proximal ends mounted to the plurality of elongated members and (ii) distal ends having vacuum suction cups. In the extended positions, the vacuum suction cups engage the fuselage on which the strongback apparatus is positioned. As the actuators moves from the extended positions to the retracted positions, the vacuum suction cups pull the fuselage away from the one-piece mandrel.

  • Patent number: 11936630
Abstract: A router includes processing circuitry configured to send a request to a web server to access a website hosted by the web server. Additionally, the processing circuitry is configured identify a pathway between a client device and the web server as well as determine whether the pathway is encrypted or unencrypted. In response to determining that the pathway is unencrypted, the processing circuitry is configured to determine whether an alternative pathway between the client device and the web server via a web host of the web server is available and, in response to determining that the alternative pathway is available, cause the alternative pathway to be established in lieu of the pathway.

  • Patent number: 11922810
Abstract: A vehicle adjustment system includes one or more processors configured to receive data from one or more sensors coupled to a vehicle that is in a stationary position. The one or more processors are also configured to analyze the data to determine whether an object is within a buffer zone surrounding the vehicle while the vehicle is in the stationary position. In response to determining that the object is within the buffer zone while the vehicle is in the stationary position, the one or more processors are configured to provide control signals to one or more driving components of the vehicle to reposition the vehicle to an alternate position.

  • Patent number: 11724421
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for demolding a composite part from a mandrel. The method includes mechanically coupling a first arm of an extraction tool to a first arcuate portion of a composite part that has been hardened onto a mandrel, mechanically coupling a second arm of an extraction tool to a second arcuate portion of the composite part, and separating the composite part from the mandrel by iteratively performing the following operations until the composite part no longer contacts the mandrel: elastically straining the first arcuate portion of the composite part via the first arm, and elastically straining the second arcuate portion of the composite part via the second arm.

  • Publication number: 20230156421
Abstract: A system 3 synchronises a plurality of virtual reality headsets 2 to corresponding multichannel audio. System 3 has a plurality of independently operable virtual reality headsets each having one or more images preloaded thereon and a distribution device 4 in the form of a server is in Wi-Fi communication via a wireless access point 5 with each virtual reality headset where the server 4 triggers the one or more preloaded images on each headset. A sound rack device 6 is in Wi-Fi communication with server 4 and configured to send time codes signals thereto. A sound mixer 7 is in cable communication with the sound rack device 6 and receives audio file data corresponding to virtual reality image content therefrom simultaneously with the server 4. The server 4 is cable connected to the wireless access point 5 and configured to simultaneously message each headset 2.

  • Patent number: 11459124
Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a splice component for joining two or more workpieces includes a base plate and one or more bias assemblies. The base plate includes one or more passageways extending through the base plate and one or more barrier elements mounted proximate to the passageway(s). Each barrier element and associated passageway are configured to freely receive a protrusion of a splice component. The bias assembly includes a bias element that extends proximate to the passageway and is configured to move resiliently to urge the protrusion against the barrier element. The passageway, the barrier element, and the bias assembly are configured to allow movement of the splice component relative to the base plate transverse to a direction of force applied by the bias element on the protrusion.

  • Patent number: 9778886
Abstract: Methods and systems resume workflow processing of a print job at intermediate steps of a print workflow. In one embodiment, a control system initiates processing of a print job based on steps in a print workflow, where the steps identify print shop activities to perform for the print job. The control system identifies an error in executing a step of the workflow, and identifies an intermediate step in the workflow that has executed in processing the print job. The control system identifies an updated file for the print job to correct the error, and resumes the processing of the print job at the intermediate step using the update file.
