  • Patent number: 10655749
Abstract: A valve operator assembly having a tubular housing extending along a central axis, an input member rotatably mounted with the housing, a transmission mechanism arranged in an inner bore of the housing and extending along the central axis, the transmission mechanism providing a rotating element connected to the input member and a translating element, the transmission mechanism adapted to convert applied rotation of the input member to the rotating element into axial translation of the translating element. At least one rolling bearing is radially arranged between an inner bore and rotating element to support in rotation and guide the rotating element within the housing. The valve operator assembly includes a clutch mechanism to permit transmission of driving torque from the input member to the rotating element in both directions around the central axis, and prevent any back-driving torque from the rotating element to the input member in either direction.

  • Patent number: 10436347
Abstract: A valve operator assembly is provided for a valve and includes a housing, an input member rotatably mounted with respect to the housing, and a transmission mechanism having a rotating screw provided with an outer thread and a translating nut surrounding and coaxial with the screw, the nut being provided with an inner thread, the transmission mechanism being adapted to convert rotation of the screw into axial translation of the nut. The input member is mounted on the rotating screw. The assembly further includes an outer translating sleeve radially disposed between the housing and the translating nut and adapted to be connected to the valve translating member of the valve. The outer translating sleeve is provided with an inner thread and is connected to the translating nut so as to slide relative to the housing when the rotating screw rotates.

  • Patent number: 9709140
Abstract: A roller screw mechanism comprising a screw having an outer threading; a nut arranged around and coaxially to the screw, the nut having an inner threading; and a plurality of mutually identical rollers interposed between the screw and the nut. Each mutually identical roller having an outer threading engaged with the outer and inner threadings of the screw and of the nut. The threading of each mutually identical roller being prolonged axially at each end by teeth respectively engaged with teeth of two annular crown rings fixed in an unthreaded part of the bore of the nut. Each of the mutually identical rollers comprises an angular visual positioning feature. The nut comprises an angular visual positioning feature making it possible to angularly place the rollers in the crown ring.

Each mutually identical roller having an outer threading engaged with the outer and inner threadings of the screw and of the nut. The threading of each roller being prolonged axially at each end by teeth respectively engaged with teeth of two annular gear wheels fixed in an unthreaded part of the bore of the nut. Each of the mutually identical rollers comprises an angular visual positioning feature, making it possible to place the rollers in one of the annular gear wheels with respect to a predetermined reference point of the gear wheel.

  • Patent number: 8172603
Abstract: A polarized quick disconnect battery cable system is herein disclosed, comprising a mating pair of polarized and keyed electrical connectors capable of carrying large currents from a vehicle's primary battery to the vehicle's starter. The system also provides an alligator clamping accessory allowing quick connection of the primary battery thereto a charging battery for charging purposes. The system is intended for use with large batteries typically found on motor vehicles, golf carts, boats, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, and the like. The system comprises heavy cables of the same gauge as is commonly used with such batteries. The quick disconnect feature allows for the easy connection and disconnection of battery wiring without using tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, or the like, thereby reducing the likelihood of accidentally shorting the battery and producing large sparks or even explosions. The system is packaged within a convenient carrying case.
