  • Publication number: 20250069104
Abstract: Techniques for generating a retail forecasting model from product-cluster-based estimated elasticity values to forecast the effects of price changes on the demand for a set of products are disclosed. A system generates cluster-based price-elasticity values for a set of products by applying a set of regressive elasticity-estimation algorithms to a set of product data and clustering products based on product descriptions and estimated price-elasticity values. The system uses the cluster-based price-elasticity values for the products to generate the retail forecasting model.

  • Publication number: 20250069014
Abstract: A method and system are provided for dynamically prioritizing work activity. In an embodiment, an appropriate progression threshold period is stored for work item lifecycle statuses in work item management software. Each time a work item status is set or changed, the period is used by a computer to schedule further work activity by generating a progression threshold timestamp. When progression threshold timestamps are presented sequentially to users, work activity is closely guided across the entire lifecycle of all work items. The present invention is also an alerting system whereby work items can enter a progression alert state.

  • Publication number: 20250043846
Abstract: A method of repairing a chain assembly involves aligning bores of inner and outer chain links and inserting a thread end of a pin through the bores. Then, a nut is threadingly engaged with the threads of the pin, the nut is tightened nut on the threads to create an interference fit between the pin and a plate of the outer chain link at the bore of the outer chain link, and the nut is further tightened on the threads until an axial stop blocks further advancement of the nut along the thread end of the pin. Additionally, a kit for repair of a chain assembly system includes a chain link defining a bore, a pin that can form an interference fit with the bore, a nut, and an axial stop that blocks further advancement of the nut along a thread end of the pin when the pin contacts the axial stop.
