  • Publication number: 20250151198
Abstract: Techniques to move high current power distribution layers for integrated circuit core power and serializer-deserializer (SERDES) power into a center area of the integrated circuit footprint. This provides a more reliable and higher current distribution into the center of a large integrated circuit footprint, without causing disruption of high speed signal routing or increased signal integrity burden to the high speed signals. Arrangements and methods for routing out the core power area of a main printed circuit board under an integrated circuit and replacing it with a custom power printed circuit board (power plug) that is attached by a metalized paste sintering process. This provides a more reliable and higher current distribution into the center of a large integrated circuit or other high-power component, without causing disruption of high speed signal routing.

  • Publication number: 20250141617
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for mitigating antenna puncturing arising from sounding reference signaling (SRS) are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a mobile device includes a front-end system operable to transmit over a first frequency band and to a receive over a second frequency band. The mobile device includes a radio operable to detect an antenna puncturing scenario arising from SRS signaling for the first frequency band for a first radio configuration in which each antenna of a group of antennas are used for receiving a data layer of the second frequency band. In response to detecting the antenna puncturing scenario, the radio indicates to a base station a second radio configuration in which a subset of the group of antennas are used at a given time for receiving the second frequency band to avoid the antenna puncturing scenario.

  • Publication number: 20250140447
Abstract: Techniques are provided to mitigate serializer-deserializer performance limiting positive/negative (P/N) skew issues in high-speed cable channels. This may be achieved by adding stripes with low/high dielectric constant (dk) material compared to the main dielectric surrounding cable wires. By adding strips/stripes in the main dielectric, a non-homogeneous dielectric structure is created, and this results in greater coupling between the signal conductors in the cable, which in turn reduces skew impact. This may be useful in twinaxial cables as well as stripline printed circuit boards.

  • Patent number: 12281298
Abstract: One or more systems for automated preparation of a regenerative epidermal suspension comprises a base unit, a cartridge assembly containing a cup, and a tissue disaggregator. The system may also include related tools. The system executes one or more sequences wherein a first motor actuates the pestle against a tissue sample that is disposed along a screen within the cup while the tissue sample is in contact with, in sequence, an enzyme solution, a first buffer solution, and then a second buffer solution. To transition between fluidic contact stages or steps, the tissue disaggregator engages with and lifts the cup into a raised position within a processing area of the cartridge while a base plate motor rotates the appropriate well into alignment under the cup for each processing step. Once the sequence is complete, a user may draw up a regenerative epidermal suspension through an opening in the cartridge top cover.

  • Publication number: 20250126054
Abstract: High availability network services are provided in a communications network comprising a plurality of network devices including a network function implemented as two instances configured as an active instance and a backup instance. The backup instance maintains state data such that the backup instance can actively provide services in response to a failure of the active instance. A pool of data forwarding functions sends, over a tunnel connection, ingress data packets to the network function based on a MAC address of the active instance on an overlay network. When the active instance has failed, the backup instance provides the network function and the pool of data forwarding functions sends over the tunnel connection, subsequent ingress data packets to the network function based on an overlay network MAC address of the backup instance.

  • Publication number: 20250119172
Abstract: Distributed radio frequency (RF) communication systems for automotive are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, an RF communication system for an automobile includes an RF module located close to an antenna to satisfy a specified output power with small insertion loss. Additionally, the baseband processor is placed remotely from the RF module in a different area of the automobile to provide a lower temperature environment. Additionally, the RF module communicates with the baseband processor in a digital format eliminating the need for higher cost cabling (for instance, due to higher noise immunity arising from using digital signaling) and using digital transfer cabling, which can already be present in the automobile for other purposes. The RF module can include an RF front-end (RFFE) and a transceiver used for providing frequency conversion, for instance, between RF and baseband.
