Publication number: 20250077578Abstract: A server computing device including one or more server memory devices storing a relational database. The server computing device further includes one or more server processing devices configured to receive an ephemeral graph database request. The ephemeral graph database request indicates a selection of data stored in the relational database. The processing devices generate an ephemeral graph database that encodes the selected data in a graph structure and store the ephemeral graph database in binary large object (BLOB) storage at the one or more memory devices. The processing devices receive instructions to apply a graph analytics algorithm at the ephemeral graph database. The processing devices read the ephemeral graph database from the BLOB storage and apply the graph analytics algorithm to the ephemeral graph database to generate a graph analytics result. The processing devices output the graph analytics result and delete the ephemeral graph database from the BLOB storage.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2023Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: David Richard Bowman, Mary Kay Van De Vanter

Publication number: 20250069014Abstract: A method and system are provided for dynamically prioritizing work activity. In an embodiment, an appropriate progression threshold period is stored for work item lifecycle statuses in work item management software. Each time a work item status is set or changed, the period is used by a computer to schedule further work activity by generating a progression threshold timestamp. When progression threshold timestamps are presented sequentially to users, work activity is closely guided across the entire lifecycle of all work items. The present invention is also an alerting system whereby work items can enter a progression alert state.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 27, 2023Publication date: February 27, 2025Inventor: David Richard Stewart
