The method acquires a request for a service that is associated with a user and the user's condition. The method then identifies one or more features of the user based on stored user information. The method next assigns the user to a segment based on the identified one or more features, generates a set of one or more recommended actions for the user based on the segment, and determines an expected value of each of the one or more recommended actions. The method determines a rank of the one or more recommended actions based on the expected value of each of the one or more recommended actions, and outputs a recommended action with a highest expected value for the user in response to the request for the service.

Abstract: A gaming machine for conducting a wagering game includes a base and a top box connected to the base by a pair of hinges that rotate in fixed stops between full upright and full down positions. The hinges are mounted to respective plates in the base and top box having sufficient thickness and strength to support the weight of the top box without binding. Blind-mate connectors are disposed within the plates such that when the top box is tilted from the full down to full upright positions, electrical connections between the top box and base are established. Likewise, when the top box is tiled to the full down position, the electrical connections are broken as the connectors separate. A retractable support member secured to the rear of the base has an extendable member that is secured to the top box when installed on the base in the full upright position.

Abstract: A sealed optical fiber connector assembly includes a connector housing that is uniquely configured to cooperate with a cable crimp tail and one or more terminal fiber optic connectors. The connector housing has a first opening for securely retaining the terminal fiber optic connectors. An interior passage connects the first opening to a second opening at the housing's other end. The interior passage allows the crimp tail to pass through the housing. The second opening forms a shoulder so that the crimp tail, after being pushed through the first opening and passage, can be rotated and seated against the shoulder. A cable seal securely holds the crimp tail against the shoulder. This provides a sealed and substantially stronger cable attachment. The connector housing is part of removable optical connector that provides environmental sealing when mated to a corresponding adapter.

The adapter may include a gasket that reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Abstract: A replaceable module is provided for attachment to a standard fiber optic connector and an opto-electronic device on a printed circuit board. The module is mounted between the internal assembly and the external assembly of a fiber optic connector. The module is easily replaceable without requiring access to the interior side of the mounting panel and without requiring disconnection of the internal assembly from the opto-electronic device on the printed circuit board. Use of the replaceable module when connecting to an external device results in reduced wear on the internal assembly, thereby enabling an increase in the number of mating cycles that the internal assembly is able to perform.
