  • Publication number: 20250102131
Abstract: A light-emitting diode (LED) lighting fixture includes a substrate and a plurality of LED clusters disposed on the substrate in a plane in which two orthogonal axes defining a two-dimension coordinate system is disposed. At least two of the LED clusters have orientations which are relatively angularly displaced and/or mirrored within the two-dimensional coordinate system.

  • Publication number: 20250075879
Abstract: An optical element for a light fixture is adapted to receive light from a light source and to direct the light toward a light-emitting surface along an axis of the optical element. The optical element includes an inner surface disposed axially around and at least partially enclosing the axis of the optical element, the inner surface at least partially containing the light within the optical element by internal reflection of the light, the inner surface being defined by at least two geometric shapes coaxially disposed with respect to the axis of the optical element.

  • Patent number: 8560946
Abstract: An apparatus in one example has: a controller having a data connector for inputting temporal data, and an item collection for providing timelines and overlays, and for providing linked visualizations of the temporal data in a timeline to other visualizations of the temporal data; and a display for displaying the timeline and overlays, and the linked visualizations. The method may have the steps of: obtaining temporal data; displaying the temporal data in at least one timeline in a web browser and in at least one other visualization in the web browser; and linking the displayed data in the at least one timeline with the displayed data in the at least one other visualization.

  • Patent number: 8230333
Abstract: An apparatus in one example has an analytical environment for mashup data having visual analysis metaphors, and linking and correlation functionality among the visual analysis metaphors. A system may have: at least one store having a predetermined floor plan layout; at least one predetermined location on the predetermined floor plan layout for displaying at least one product; analytical environment for mashup data having visual analysis metaphors, the mashup data formed from data indiciative of the predetermined floor plan layout, and data indicated of sales of the at least one product; and linking and correlation functionality among the visual analysis metaphors through a web browser. In one example, a plurality of products may be positioned on a plurality of shelves, and may be depicted in a geographical display. Sales of each product may be depicted in a in time line display that is linked to the geographical display.

  • Publication number: 20060024629
Abstract: Provided is a liquid fuel candle comprising a wax body with a hollowed core, a base defining a reservoir for storage of liquid fuel attached to one end of the wax body, an insulator attached to the other end of the wax body, and a wick threaded through the hollowed core and communicating at one end with the liquid fuel and at the other end with the insulator. The base may be formed and dimensioned to resemble a conventional candle holder, and since the liquid fuel is stored within the reservoir provided by the base, the wax body may be very slender and thin without compromising candle burn time. A diffuser ring may be associated with the insulator for evaporation and dispersion of scented oils. More than one wax body, wick and insulator may be associated with a single base.

  • Patent number: 6638060
Abstract: An everlasting candle comprising a wax body with a recessed hollow in its top for receiving an insulating container, and a smaller holding container with an annular rim set within the insulating container and communicating with the insulating container only by the rim (thereby to provide an insulative airspace between the two containers), the holding container being suitably dimensioned to replaceably receive a tea light votive candle. In use, the replaceable tea light votive candle within the everlasting candle burns with the same flame as a conventional paraffin candle, and will be liquefied and consumed during use. However, since the main wax body of the everlasting candle is separate and insulated from the replaceable tea light votive candle, the wax body of the everlasting candle will not be liquefied or consumed.
