  • Patent number: 10903023
Abstract: System and method for monitoring a travel curve of moving part of circuit breaker comprising: device for optically monitoring travel path and comprising: light source; light detection device; optical element having plurality of zones with different optical properties which are alternately arranged, the optical element being provided on moving part of circuit breaker, light being intensity-modulated by the optical element and being received by light detection device during circuit breaker operation. The system further comprises an accelerometer mounted to circuit breaker, control unit for receiving signals from light detection device and from accelerometer, the control unit being configured to determine the travel curve based on the detected modulated light and on the detected vibration signal, the vibration signal being employed to identify a change of direction of movement of the moving part.

  • Publication number: 20120185772
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for producing video presentations is provided. The method may include providing, using one or more computing devices, a template configured to enable the generation of a video presentation. The method may further include receiving, using the one or more computing devices, an input parameter associated with the template from a user. The method may also include generating instructions, using the one or more computing devices, the instructions configured to enable the video presentation based upon, at least in part, the input parameter associated with the template. The method may additionally include transmitting, using the one or more computing devices, the instructions associated with the video presentation to a video player configured to translate the video presentation to a web browser.

  • Patent number: 5903427
Abstract: A device for containing an electrical discharge arc and holding the arc substantially captive until it is extinguished. The device comprises two spaced apart conductor systems (13 and 14) that are connected to points (23 and 24) of different voltage potential in an electrical circuit, so that arc current will flow through and between the conductor systems (13 and 14) in the event of an arc discharge between the conductor systems. The conductor systems are arranged normally to locate about an insulated portion (22) of an electrical apparatus.
