  • Patent number: 11967480
Abstract: An image intensifier device includes: an intensifier tube with at least one photocathode, a micro-channel plate and a conversion element, arranged in that order one after another, and an electric power supply module configured to supply at least one respective polarisation voltage to each of the elements of the intensifier tube. The electric power supply module extends in a region located upstream of the photocathode, on the side of the photocathode opposite to the micro-channel plate. Thus, a space is cleared located downstream of the intensifier tube in the direction of travel of the photons and of the electrons in the image intensifier device. This allows reducing the size of the image intensifier device for example by bringing an eyepiece closer.

  • Publication number: 20240127454
Abstract: In various examples, live perception from sensors of a vehicle may be leveraged to detect and classify intersection contention areas in an environment of a vehicle in real-time or near real-time. For example, a deep neural network (DNN) may be trained to compute outputs—such as signed distance functions—that may correspond to locations of boundaries delineating intersection contention areas. The signed distance functions may be decoded and/or post-processed to determine instance segmentation masks representing locations and classifications of intersection areas or regions. The locations of the intersections areas or regions may be generated in image-space and converted to world-space coordinates to aid an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle in navigating intersections according to rules of the road, traffic priority considerations, and/or the like.

  • Publication number: 20240112060
Abstract: In a general aspect, a surface code syndrome measurement is performed on a superconducting quantum processing unit. In some implementations, the superconducting quantum processing unit is caused to apply a quantum error correction code including X-type and Z-type stabilizer check patches. Each of the X-type and Z-type stabilizer check patches includes a stabilizer check qubit device and data qubit devices of the superconducting quantum processing unit. Applying the quantum error correction code includes iteratively twirling the data qubit devices in a stabilizer check patch; and evolving the stabilizer check qubit device in the stabilizer check patch and the data qubit devices in the stabilizer check patch under an interaction Hamiltonian. The interaction Hamiltonian includes a plurality of terms interactions between the stabilizer check qubit device in the stabilizer check patch and a respective one of the data qubit devices in the stabilizer check patch.

  • Patent number: 11940987
Abstract: An incorrect copy of a record of data can be prevented from being transmitted to a distributed ledger system. A first file can be received and can include information, in audio or video form, with a description of a subject matter of the record of data and with an authorization to transmit the copy to the distributed ledger system. The first file can be sent to a device. A second file can be received from the device and can include information that confirms that the description of the subject matter, included in the first file, is correct, and that confirms that an entity, which controlled production of the first file, has permission to authorize causing the copy to be transmitted to the distributed ledger system. The correct copy can be caused, based on a receipt of the first and the second files, to be transmitted to the distributed ledger system.

  • Patent number: 11941819
Abstract: A neural network may be used to determine corner points of a skewed polygon (e.g., as displacement values to anchor box corner points) that accurately delineate a region in an image that defines a parking space. Further, the neural network may output confidence values predicting likelihoods that corner points of an anchor box correspond to an entrance to the parking spot. The confidence values may be used to select a subset of the corner points of the anchor box and/or skewed polygon in order to define the entrance to the parking spot. A minimum aggregate distance between corner points of a skewed polygon predicted using the CNN(s) and ground truth corner points of a parking spot may be used simplify a determination as to whether an anchor box should be used as a positive sample for training.

  • Patent number: 11930042
Abstract: A cloud-native global file system, in which one or more filers are associated with a volume of a versioned files system in a private, public or hybrid cloud object store, is augmented to include a rapid ransomware recovery service. Upon detecting a ransomware attack associated with one or more files or directories of the volume, read and write access to the volume is restricted. A recovery filer is then activated or designated in the cloud. A restore operation is then initiated at the recovery filter. Following completion of the restore operation, a new clean (healthy) snapshot of the volume is then created using the recovery filer For any filer other than the recovery filer, a determination is made whether the filer has completed a merge operation with respect to the new clean snapshot. If so, read and write access to the volume is re-enabled from that filer.
