Abstract: A method for operating a system for creating and retrieving contextual links between user interface objects involves displaying a navigation options menu as an overlay, above a content source, within a user interface, in response to receiving an input control through a UI controller for a UI object, generating an annotation entry for the UI object, generating a contextual link between a first UI object and a second UI object, and displaying an adjacently positioned link counter and a visible indicator around the UI object through operation of a presentation modeler, in response to detecting at least one correlation for the UI object in the correlation table.

Abstract: A clip and collected assembly thereof are provided and including a method of forming the clip and clip assembly. The clip is formed with at least one slot that has at least one projection for keeping a resilient cord press fit in the slot therein against forces tending to shift it out therefrom. Preferably, two parallel slots are provided for receiving two cords therein with there being two opposing projections extending into the slot opening from either side of the slot. The slot projections provide an attendant manufacturing benefit as the punches of the die press apparatus that punch slugs from the blank fed thereto will not suffer from slug pulling problems because of the presence of corresponding projections extending into the die cavity openings from either side thereof.

Abstract: An electronic marketplace for selling and auctioning off display rights to digital imagery. Photographers upload digital images to a web site run by an auction house and specify the terms and conditions under which they are willing to allow others to display the digital images. Prospective buyers, who have registered with the auction house can view these digital images, and bid for the right to display the images. Various exclusive and non-exclusive display rights are offered, and various auctions and pricing schemes are offered, and the buyers are selected from the bidders according to one of a number of candidate auction algorithms, depending on the objectives of the auction house and the photographer.
