  • Patent number: 10699067
Abstract: Methods and systems for form design and data input collection are described. The method at a server system includes receiving a form template in which multiple cells are provided in an array, wherein in the form template a plurality of the cells define formula-based values, and a plurality of the cells include metadata specifying a required format of a cell input. The method includes rendering the form template as a form instance including providing displayable input controls for fields of the form instance based on the cell metadata in corresponding cells of the form template; receiving user inputs into fields in the form instance; and evaluating user inputs to update formula-based values for cells.

  • Publication number: 20200192630
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for tailoring composite graphical assistant interfaces for interacting with multiple different connected devices. The composite graphical assistant interfaces can be generated in response to a user providing a request for an automated assistant to cause a connected device to perform a particular function. In response to the automated assistant receiving the request, the automated assistant can identify other functions that the connected device is capable of performing. The other functions can then be mapped to various graphical control elements in order to provide a composite graphical assistant interface from which the user can interact with the connected device. Each graphical control element can be arranged according to a status of the connected device, in order to reflect how the connected device is operating simultaneous to the presentation of the composite graphical assistant interface.

  • Publication number: 20200139143
Abstract: A defibrillator (AED) and method for using a defibrillator using two different ECG analysis algorithms which work sequentially to improve the accuracy of AED shock decisions. A first algorithm, such as (ART), is particularly suited for analysis in the presence of CPR periods. A second algorithm, such as (PAS), is particularly suited for analysis during hands-off periods. The AED switches algorithms depending on the period and on the current analysis of the cardiac rhythm. The inventions thus provide an optimized ECG analysis scheme in a manner that improves the effectiveness of the rescue, resulting in more CPR “hands-on” time, better treatment of refibrillation, and reduced transition times between CPR and electrotherapy.

  • Publication number: 20200067916
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that perform structure-based access control. In particular, rather than relying upon a user-specific credential scheme, which can require manual sharing of user-specific credentials and/or switching between the multiple accounts to access the particular devices, applications, or services associated with such accounts, the systems and methods of the present disclosure facilitate user credentials to be inherited by or otherwise assigned to a structure identifier associated with a structure (e.g., a home in which the user resides), thereby generating a set of structure credentials. This enables other users in the structure, who may be part of a collaborative user group, to access devices, applications, and/or services using the structure credentials.

  • Patent number: 10562754
Abstract: Systems and methods for dispensing a product are provided. A plurality of product ingredients are associated with a product dispenser that is operable to form a plurality of selectable products from the plurality of products ingredients. Input for a selected product is received and a recipe that defines the ratio of product ingredients for forming the selected product is identified. The dispense of each of the respective product ingredients is commenced based at least in part on the identified recipe, and the dispense of each of the respective product ingredients is independently monitored during the dispense of the selected product.

  • Publication number: 20200051567
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally related to a data processing system to validate vehicular functions in a voice activated computer network environment. The data processing system can improve the efficiency of the network by discarding action data structures and requests that invalid prior to their transmission across the network. The system can invalidate requests by comparing attributes of a vehicular state to attributes of a request state.

  • Publication number: 20200035239
Abstract: In one example, a method includes receiving audio data generated by one or more microphones of a computing device, the audio data representing a spoken utterance; identifying, based on the audio data, a user that provided the spoken utterance; identifying, based on the audio data, an automation action associated with one or more automation devices, the automation action corresponding to the spoken utterance; determining whether the identified user is authorized to cause performance of the identified automation action; and responsive to determining that the identified user is authorized to cause performance of the identified automation action, causing the one or more automation devices to perform the identified automation action.

  • Patent number: 10537745
Abstract: A defibrillator and method for using a defibrillator which adopts an ECG analysis algorithm that can detect a cardiac arrhythmia in the presence of noise artifact induced by cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) compressions. The apparatus and method provides both of a continuous and scheduled mode of operation for interleaving periods of CPR with electrotherapy, in a manner that improves the effectiveness of the rescue, resulting in more CPR “hands-on” time, better treatment of refibriUation, and reduced transition times between CPR and electrotherapy.

  • Publication number: 20190361575
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for tailoring composite graphical assistant interfaces for interacting with multiple different connected devices. The composite graphical assistant interfaces can be generated proactively and/or in response to a user providing a request for an automated assistant to cause a connected device to perform a particular function. In response to the automated assistant receiving the request, the automated assistant can identify other connected devices, and other functions capable of being performed by the other connected devices. The other functions can then be mapped to various graphical control elements in order to provide a composite graphical assistant interface from which the user can interact with different connected devices. • Patent number: 10238881
Abstract: A defibrillator (100) and method (300) are described having an improved automatic activation feature. The improvement comprises sensing a pattern of events which indicates that repeated activations are inadvertent, and thus are unnecessarily depleting the battery. The defibrillator then disables the automatic activation circuit (210) feature. Then, the sensing of a manual defibrillator operation may trigger a re-enablement of the automatic activation feature.
