  • Publication number: 20160378920
Abstract: A system and method for integrating clinical trial data housed in disparate systems. The integration system listens for a clinical trial event broadcasted by any one of the disparate systems. The clinical trial events are the same or similarly defined among the disparate systems. The integration system receives notice of a clinical trial event from one of the disparate systems and then sends a query to the disparate systems requesting metadata corresponding with the clinical trial event. The metadata is comprised of attributes of the clinical trial event and the values of such metadata may differ among the disparate systems. The responsive metadata is stored in an unstructured format and can be displayed in substantially real-time via a graphical user interface.

  • Patent number: 9020988
Abstract: A big data database managed by a procurement service aggregates purchase data received from federal, state and local government agencies through Freedom of Information Act requests, state public records requests and private sector business entities. An automated system processes a vast amount of purchase data files acquired from numerous different agencies through a number of different transports, on a variety of different media, included within several different file formats. A best match is selected for each acquired file with one of a multitude of configuration files available to process the purchase files. The file is then processed with the selected configuration file and aggregated into the database. The database is then made available to customers of the procurement service for search, reports and analysis purposes.

  • Publication number: 20100220008
Abstract: A system for, and method of, blending (or integrating) pseudo-range or position measurements and bearing-to-transmitter measurements from an eLORAN or LORAN-C receiver and position (alternatively, pseudo ranges) and velocity (alternatively pseudo-range rate) measurements from a GPS receiver. The described system can also be integrated with additional external positioning systems. In the context of an inertial navigation system (INS) application, this combined GPS/LORAN signal can be employed to provide external positioning solutions, potentially integrated with measurements from devises such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, altimeters, etc. The system includes a GPS signal input, a LORAN signal input, preprocessors for each, and an integrator to combine the two preprocessed signals to estimate errors in the full trajectory variables.

  • Publication number: 20080243034
Abstract: A method for treatment of compressed fascial tissues on the human body comprising a two part process. The first part comprises a treatment of fascial tissues around the cranium and the second part comprises a treatment of fascial tissues along the torso and limbs. The first part administers a method of palpation to tactilely identify areas of compressed fascial tissue and treats identified areas using compressive and tractional forces applied to the area perpendicularly to one another until compression is released. The second part includes a sequences of stretching postures that elongate the tissues in the torso and limbs further relieving the body of compressed tissues. The second part is aided by use of an orientation device that provides reference points for commencement of a stretching posture and for directing movement thereafter. A platform device is also included for promoting a stretching posture and a balancing aid is provided for supporting the weight of the torso during select exercises.
