Abstract: The invention provides a method for detecting one or more analytes, the method comprising: providing a substrate comprising a semiconductor with a porous surface, wherein the porous surface is coated with a fluorocarbon polymeric coating; contacting the porous surface with a fluid or object so that the one or more analytes are retained on the substrate when present in the fluid or on the object; and analysing the substrate by mass spectrometry to detect the one or more analytes if present on the substrate.

Abstract: A visor system for a protective sport helmet (e.g., a hockey helmet) wearable on a head of a user (e.g., a hockey player) is provided. The visor system comprises a visor for protecting at least part of a face of the user. The visor is transparent and comprises left and right connectors. The visor system also comprises left and right visor supports for supporting the visor on left and right sides of the protective sport helmet. The left and right connectors of the visor are toollessly connectable to and toollessly disconnectable from the left and right visor supports to allow the user to toollessly connect the visor to the left and right visor supports and toollessly disconnect the visor from the left and right visor supports. The visor system may be configured to define an open gap from a top edge of the visor to the outer shell when the left and right visor supports are supporting the visor on the left and right sides of the protective sport helmet.

Abstract: The present invention provides a ladder cover made up of fabric which prevents the marring of the wall from the top edges of the ladder, is enabled to couple to any ladder type and consists of a loop which secures construction tools to the ladder cover. The user wraps the ladder cover around the top edges of the side rails such that it covers the top edges completely. The wrapping of the cover is enabled by the coupling material such as Velcro which secures its position onto the side rails of the ladder. The cover further consists of adjustable loop on its top surface which enable the user to couple at least one construction tool at the time of use.

The rim is configured to allow sliding engagement with the engaging portion in a direction that is transversal to the longitudinal axis of the buckle between a first position wherein a section of the rim retains the engaging portion in the rim housing for locking the buckle into the stud and a second position wherein the engaging portion is no longer retained in the rim housing for releasing the buckle from the stud.
