Abstract: Applications can invoke native services provided by an operating system via an interface library of functions. The interface library may provide a more limited set of parameters than the full range of parameters supported by the native services. An application can customize an interface function by requesting that a parameter be added to the parameter list whenever the interface function is called by the application. For example, an application can request that a parameter that is supported by a native service but is not provided by the interface function to the native service be added prior to calling the native service.
