  • Patent number: 12224575
Abstract: A method may include receiving, via at least one processor, a first set of data indicative of a fault being present and send a first signal to a breaker based on the first set of data. The first signal may cause the breaker to open a plurality of poles of the breaker. The method may then involve receiving a second set of data indicative of the fault being cleared and sending a second signal to the breaker based on the second set of data. The second signal may cause the breaker to close a first pole of the plurality of poles at a first time and close a second pole of the plurality of poles at a second time different from the first time.

  • Patent number: 12050077
Abstract: A linkless ammunition handling system for a medium caliber weapon has a first magazine configured to store a plurality of individual ammunition rounds. The first magazine conveys ammunition rounds to a first magazine interface unit. The first magazine interface unit conveys ammunition rounds to a first flexible feed chute subassembly. The first flexible feed chute subassembly conveys ammunition rounds to a first gun interface unit. The first gun interface unit conveys ammunition rounds to a gun feeder. A second magazine is also configured to store a plurality of individual ammunition rounds. The second magazine conveys ammunition rounds to a second magazine interface unit. The second magazine interface unit conveys ammunition rounds to a second flexible feed chute subassembly. The second flexible feed chute subassembly conveys ammunition rounds to a second gun interface unit. The second gun interface unit conveys ammunition rounds to the gun feeder.

  • Patent number: 6655465
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing for real time automated control of the position of a blade on a earth-moving machine. The method includes providing a geography altering machine, including a blade and a computer, the computer having stored therein a reference line and a three dimensional computer model of a desired topography, providing a user defined offset relative to the reference line, determining a blade position in local coordinates, converting the local coordinates to reference line coordinates, utilizing the reference line coordinates and the user defined offset to calculate blade movement commands, and moving the blade in a direction required by the blade movement commands.

  • Patent number: 6191732
Abstract: The present invention includes a method and apparatus which determines the tree-dimensional (x, y, z coordinate) position of the receiving position of a GPS antenna on an earth-moving machine or a vehicle, determines the tilt of the machine or vehicle in real time (tilt may vary from point to point), and utilizes this data to calculate the three-dimesional (x, y, z coordinate) position of a point of the earth's surface disposed beneath the machine or vehicle. In a preferred embodiment, the present invention derives and displays the distance between the actual elevation of this point and the desired surface elevation.
