  • Patent number: 11912013
Abstract: Ink-based digital printing systems useful for ink printing include a rotatable charge-retentive reimageable surface layer configured to receive a layer of fountain solution. The fountain solution is carried to the charge retentive surface by a fog or mist including fountain solution aerosol particles, dispersed gas particles, and charge directors that impart charge to the fountain solution aerosol particles. The charge-retentive reimageable surface may be charged to a uniform potential, and selectively discharged using an ROS according to image data to form an electrostatic latent image. The charged fountain solution adheres to portions of the charge-retentive reimageable surface according to the electrostatic latent image to form a fountain solution image thereon. The fountain solution image can be partially transferred to an imaging blanket, where the fountain solution image is inked. The resulting ink image may be transferred to a print substrate.

  • Patent number: 11911721
Abstract: A fuel filtration system and methods controlling, and operating a fuel filtration system. A first fuel filter head is fluidly coupled to one or more first fuel filters, a second fuel filter head is fluidly coupled to one or more second fuel filters and a selector valve is coupled to the first fuel filter head and the second fuel filter head. The selector valve includes a primary valve inlet port, a primary valve outlet port, and a movable valve body movable from a first position to a second position. The first position fluidly couples the first fuel filter head to the primary valve outlet port and fluidly decouples the second fuel filter head from the primary valve outlet port. The second position fluidly couples the second fuel filter head to the primary valve outlet port and fluidly decouples the first fuel filter head from the primary valve outlet port.

  • Patent number: 7958075
Abstract: A geometric model is considered for the problem of minimizing access control lists (ACLs) in network routers. A colored rectilinear pattern is created within an initially white rectangular canvas, and the basic operation is to choose a subrectangle and paint it a single color, overwriting all previous colors in the rectangle. The method operates on rectangular rule lists (RRLs) and access control lists (ACLs) in which all rectangles are strips that extend either the full length or the full height of the canvas. A polynomial-time algorithm optimally constructs such patterns when, as in the ACL application, the only colors are black and white (permit or deny). That algorithm is complemented by a significantly faster approximation algorithm that is guaranteed to be no worse than 3/2 optimal.

  • Publication number: 20110092763
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for determining which embryos from a group of embryos are most likely to implant and develop as desired. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, one or more cells are biopsied from each of the embryos, and the genetic condition of those cells are determined. Within a group of embryos that each test positive for aneuploidy, the likelihood that each embryo contains euploid cells may be determined from the type of aneuploidy observed in the biopsied cells. This knowledge may be used to make a decision as to which embryos to transfer to a uterus. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, these determinations are made for the purpose of embryo selection in the context of in vitro fertilization.

  • Publication number: 20110033862
Abstract: Methods for cell genotyping are disclosed herein. A method for determining the genomic data of one or a small number of cells, or from fragmentary DNA, where a limited quantity of genetic data is available may include adding one or more targeted primers to a whole genome amplification of a cell, increasing the accuracy with which key alleles are measured in the context of a whole genome amplification. The genetic material from a single cell may be divided into fractions, each of which may be separately genotyped, allowing the reconstruction of the cells haplotype. The genetic material from a single cell may be divided into fractions, each of which may be separately genotyped, and the distribution of the various alleles in the different fractions may be used to determine the ploidy state of one or a plurality of chromosomes in the cell.

  • Patent number: RE49866
Abstract: Systems are provided for logging transactions in heterogeneous networks that include a combination of one or more instrumented components and one or more non-instrumented components. The instrumented components are configured to generate impersonated log records for the non-instrumented components involved in the transaction processing hand-offs with the instrumented components. The impersonated log records are persisted with other log records that are generated by the instrumented components in a transaction log that is maintained by a central logging system to reflect a complete flow of the transaction processing performed on the object, including the flow through the non-instrumented component(s).
