Abstract: A staple-suture combination that includes a plurality of anchors, wherein each of the anchors are constructed from suture material and a cinching stitch such that the cinching stitch can be pulled thereby causing the suture material to cinch up and secure the anchor below the cortex of a bone and further including a mattress stitch that extends over a surface of a section of tissue thereby securing the tissue to the bone. The cinching stitch and/or the mattress stitch including barbs on an outer surface prevent the cinching stitch and/or mattress stitch from loosening.

Abstract: A system and method for monitoring the location of a tracking device are disclosed. An example method includes defining location criteria, associating the location criteria with a user, associating the tracking device with the user, comparing location data generated by the tracking device to the location criteria, and transmitting notification to said user if the location data satisfies the location criteria. An example system includes a tracking device interface for communicating with a tracking device, a network interface for communicating with a user, a processing unit for processing data and code, and memory for storing the data and the code, the data and the code together including data associating the tracking device with the user, location criteria associated with the user, and a monitoring routine operative to transmit notification to the user if location data generated by the tracking device satisfies the location criteria.

Abstract: A portable exercising device of simplified design and construction which enables a user to perform a number of different types of exercises. An upright frame or scaffold is provided. A cage or frame for supporting weights is positionable between uprights at the sides of the frame or scaffold. A system of pulleys and lines is provided with detachable hand grips or a bar at the ends of the lines so that a user in various positions holding the hand grips or bar can pull on the lines to raise and lower the cage holding the weights. The user may work between the uprights at the sides of the frame to perform uplifting exercises using barbells and the like. The system of pulleys includes pulley blocks and pulleys at the lower part of the frame and pulley blocks and pulleys at the upper part, the lower ones being swivel mounted and the upper ones being hinged. Alternatively, the lines can pass or not pass over the lower pulleys, the device thereby accommodating many different manners or modes of utilization.
