Abstract: A system and method for managing access to entity identity data are described. The system comprises a communications module; a processor coupled with the communications module; and a memory coupled to the processor and storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to authenticate a remote device as being associated with an entity; receive, via the communications module and from the remote device, pre-consent data identifying one or more third parties permitted to access entity identity data for the entity; store, in the memory, the pre-consent data in association with the entity; receive, via the communications module and from a digital identity network, a signal representing a request to release the entity identity data to the third party; determine, based on the pre-consent data, that the entity identity data is to be released to the third party; and initiate release of the entity identity data to a computing device associated with the third party.

Abstract: Packaging may include a base box and a lid having a tamper-evident seal. The tamper-evident seal may include a paper substrate having a first adhesive portion configured to attach to a side panel of the base box, a second adhesive portion configured to attach to a second side panel of the lid. The first and second adhesive portions may be disposed on opposing sides of the paper substrate, and a tab configured to be accessible on an exterior of a package when the tamper-evident seal is applied may be a part of the paper substrate. When the tab is pulled with sufficient force, the paper substrate tears such that the first adhesive portion and the second adhesive portion remain fixed to the first and second side panels, respectively, while the remainder of the paper substrate tears free so that the packaging may be opened.

Abstract: A prosthetic joint and a method of controlling dorsiflexion and plantarflexion of the hydraulic prosthetic ankle joint. The method includes generating ground reaction forces with a hydraulic prosthetic ankle, wherein the prosthetic hydraulic ankle comprises a first chamber and a second chamber, and the ankle is connected to a prosthetic foot; rotating the prosthetic foot in response to the ground reaction force; transferring fluid between the forward and rear chambers in response to rotation of the foot; providing a feature to occlude or partially occlude the fluid transfer between chambers; providing a non-electronic mechanism for controlling the flow responsive to both a position of the joint and a rate of change of position of the joint, and wherein the mechanism is arranged such that a dwell at a particular joint location or locations will occlude the flow path.

The method includes: receiving an authentication request to authenticate a first entity to a service; in response to receiving the authentication request: generating a message for requesting the first entity to initiate a transfer of resources from a first data record; and transmitting the message to a first server that requires user authentication for the first entity to access the message; and generating a response to the authentication request based on a completion status of the requested transfer.

Abstract: Systems disclosed herein are directed to a display stand unit for a retail environment. The display stand unit includes a base having an interior and a display stand. The display stand includes a stem that connects to and extends upwardly from the base and a receiving surface that is suspended above and spaced away from the base by the stem. The receiving surface is configured to releasably hold an electronic device above and spaced away from the base. The display stand unit further includes a security cable that extends out from the base. The security cable is configured to attach to the electronic device to movably secure the electronic device to the base. The display stand unit further includes a retractor disposed within the interior of the base and connected to the security cable. The retractor automatically retracts the security cable.

Abstract: A head-mounted display system includes a head-mounted display unit a display that, in use, is held in an operational position over a user's face. The head-mounted display system further comprises a flow generator configured to generate a flow of air, and an air guide arrangement coupled to the flow generator to enable the flow generator to direct air to, or draw air from, one or more selected areas in proximity of the head-mounted display system.

Abstract: Computing devices, systems, and methods for automatically prompting a foreign currency transaction by detecting a trip end condition associated with a registered user with respect to travel to a foreign location associated with a foreign currency. The methods and system may further determine that the registered user has a remaining foreign currency balance, and, as a result, may identify and send to the registered user's mobile device at least one option for using the remaining foreign currency balance. The at least one option may be a merchant offer from a merchant located in the area of the mobile device or may include an option to exchange the foreign currency for another currency. The trip end condition may be detected by determining that the registered user and/or user's mobile device is at an international departure location. The currency exchange may be with another registered user.

Abstract: A novel turbine motor spindle assembly for a spindle-mounted pneumatic tool, especially in a live tool environment is described. The novel turbine motor spindle assembly includes a manifold with a front end and a rear end. The manifold includes an air intake passage for receiving pressurized air. The pressurized air is directed axially through a drive shaft rotatably coupled to the front end. The pressurized air drives a turbine motor assembly and a drive shaft. The drive shaft is mounted inside a housing is self-lubricating. The turbine motor assembly includes tangential openings for expelling exhaust air therefrom. The turbine motor housing is mechanically coupled to the front end of the manifold with an exhaust air passage for directing exhaust air from the one or more tangential openings out through the rear end of the manifold.

Abstract: A method for evaluating security of third-party applications includes: launching, in an automated test environment, a test instance of a first application; determining a data access pattern for the first application of accessing a protected remote server based on detecting data retrieval operations of retrieving data from the protected remote server by the test instance and determining application states of the first application associated with the detected data retrieval operations; and providing the data access pattern for the first application on a client device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that use a trained process to reply to a request comprising query data defining a query and context data defining contextual factors for the query from a device. The query is answered by one or more selected APIs of a plurality of APIs that invoke respective services to prepare a response. The trained process determines an execution plan responsive to the query data and the context data and is configured using training to define execution plans comprising selected APIs where a particular API is selected for the plan if it answers at least a portion of the query and the selected APIs together prepare the response optimized for the device according to the context data.
