Abstract: A hose deployment and retrieval system is described that includes a modular reel assembly. The modular reel assembly includes a reel having a hub around which a hose may be wound and a wheel assembly on either side of the hub and spaced to accept the hose there between. The reel assembly also includes an axle in the center of the hub around which the hub can spin and a base holding the axle. A deployment fork assembly includes a reel assembly mount for engaging with the modular reel assembly and a drive mechanism to spin the reel when the deployment fork assembly is engaged with the modular reel assembly, wherein the deployment fork assembly is adapted to mount to a vehicle.

Abstract: A private data and voice network which uses the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) system to connect groups of users via mobile handset devices. A WiMAX transmitter facilitates communication between wireless devices on the network, which are connected remotely by a server which routes encrypted shared data. The network operates independently, without the use of any cable Internet systems or wireless Internet.

Abstract: A hinge mechanism includes a first hinge element, a second hinge element, and a locking element. The first hinge element may include a first plate portion and a first plurality of substantially parallel fingers spaced from one another. The second hinge element may include a second plate portion and a second plurality of substantially parallel fingers spaced from one another. The first and second pluralities of substantially parallel fingers may interlock with one another along a pivot axis such that the first and second hinge elements are rotatable relative to one another about the pivot axis between an extended position and a folded position. The locking element may extend substantially parallel to the pivot axis and may be configured to releasably engage a receiving portion in at least one of the first and second pluralities of substantially parallel fingers when the first and second hinge elements are in the extended position to lock the first and second hinge elements relative to one another.

Abstract: A method and system for delivering a user-settable dose of a first medicament and a non-user settable dose of a second medicament through a single dose setter and a single dispense interface. The drug delivery system includes a drug delivery device and a medicated module. The drug delivery device comprises a single dose setter operably connected to a primary reservoir containing the first medicament. The medicated module comprises (i) a collapsible feature holding the second medicament and (ii) the single dispense interface having an output needle. Further, the drug delivery device and medicated module are each configured such that the single dose setter is mechanically linked to the collapsible feature after attachment of the medicated module to the drug delivery device.

Abstract: A hinge mechanism includes a first hinge element, a second hinge element, and a locking element.
