Abstract: Methods and system are provided to select a battery control strategy for a hybrid battery of a hybrid electric vehicle. The methods comprise receiving forecast weather information at a first location, determining an operational parameter of the hybrid battery, and selecting a first battery control strategy based on the forecast weather information and the operational parameter of the hybrid battery, wherein the control strategy comprises a state of charge target for the hybrid battery required for a next start sequence.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for portable and compact nitric oxide (NO) generation that can be embedded into other therapeutic devices or used alone. In some embodiments, an ambulatory NO generation system can be comprised of a controller and disposable cartridge. The cartridge can contain filters and scavengers for preparing the gas used for NO generation and for scrubbing output gases prior to patient inhalation. The system can utilize an oxygen concentrator to increase nitric oxide production and compliment oxygen generator activity as an independent device. The system can also include a high voltage electrode assembly that is easily assembled and installed. Various nitric oxide delivery methods are provided, including the use of a nasal cannula.

Abstract: A latch for use in a vehicle including a catch, a pawl, a motor including a motor shaft, and drivetrain including, a first gear and a pawl lifter. The first gear is configured to rotate about a first axis as the motor shaft rotates when the drivetrain is in the operating state and defining an aperture configured to receive an opening tool and translate along the first axis from a first position to a second position to change the drivetrain from the operating state to the service state, when the opening tool is inserted into the aperture. When the first gear is in the second position, the first gear is configured to pivot the pawl lifter to move the pawl from the pawl closed position of the pawl open position.
