  • Publication number: 20070215833
Abstract: A valve for controlling the flow of cryogenic fluid. The valve includes a valve body and a sealing member pivotably mounted within the valve body. The valve also includes an actuator mechanism that pivots the sealing member from a closed position to an open position to allow flow of fluid through the valve body. The sealing member provides a seal against a portion of said valve body to substantially prevent flow of fluid through the valve in the closed position. A linkage connects the sealing member and the actuator mechanism. The linkage is capable of translating the direction of a force from the actuator mechanism to a direction suitable for pivoting the sealing member toward either the open position or the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20060225794
Abstract: A vent and relief valve having a valve body that is in fluid communication with the interior of a tank containing a fluid. A vent valve and relief valve are positioned within the valve body. The vent valve is capable of being configured into an open position to vent fluid from the interior of the tank. The relief valve is capable of being configured into an open position to relieve pressure within a tank. The relief valve is also capable of engaging the vent valve to form a seal to substantially prevent fluid from flowing from the tank. The valve body also includes a valve seat having a first surface that releasably engages the vent valve when the vent valve is in a closed position and a second surface that releasably engages the relief valve when the relief valve is in a closed position.

  • Publication number: 20060090341
Abstract: A solid forged cylindrical ring with no welds is machined to form a cycle wheel rim for a spoked wheel. Holes are drilled in the inner perimeter of the rim to receive spokes from the hub. This process can produce rims used an many other forms of wheel assemblies.
