  • Publication number: 20230050683
Abstract: Persistent storage contains a parent table and one or more child tables, the parent table containing: a class field specifying types, and one or more filter fields. One or more processors may: receive a first request to read first information of a first type for a first entity; determine that, in a first entry of the parent table for the first entity, the first type is specified in the class field; obtain the first information from a child table associated with the first type; receive a second request to read second information of a second type for a second entity; determine that, in a second entry of the parent table for the second entity, the second type is indicated as present by a filter field that is associated with the second type; and obtain the second information from a set of additional fields in the second entry.

  • Publication number: 20100143755
Abstract: A planar endothermic reformer assembly comprising only a few macrochannels rather than many microchannels as in the prior art. The macrochannels are arranged alternately in a stack for reforming and hot gas flow in a cross-flow reformer/heat exchanger. The assembly includes four manifolds. An external combustor supplies heat to the hot gas macrochannels in the reformer/heat exchanger stack for endothermic reforming, resulting in low temperature gradients in the reforming macrochannels. The macrochannels, having no dimension less than 2.0 mm, contain metal substrates for heat transfer as well as for support for the catalytic washcoat and may comprise packs of corrugated sheet metal such as Haynes or Inconell; packs of wire mesh; metallic foam made of Fecralloy, Haynes, Inconel, or higher conductivity material; or stacks of metallic felt material. The metallic substrates are brazed into the reforming channels and the hot flow channels to ensure maximum heat transfer for highest reforming efficiencies.

  • Patent number: 7526306
Abstract: A push to talk (PTT) user interface for a wireless communications device utilizes a single all contacts database. The database is updated and utilized by the user in either a “PTT contacts” list screen or in an “all contacts” list screen. These screens are used for direct PTT calls, group PTT calls, alert calls, and standard cellular voice calls. Push to talk contacts are defined by the user and are stored on the wireless device. A direct PTT call allows a user to place a PTT call to another party or to a group with more than one party. The user can create a group “ad hoc” PTT call by selecting multiple contacts from the PTT contacts list screen. The PTT contact screen also is utilized to send an “alert” message to an individual with a PTT contact number. The alert message is either a brief text message or simply an “Alert” without text. During a PTT call, the user can view a variety of screens to add another party to the active PTT call and to save or edit participant information.

  • Patent number: 7454177
Abstract: An multi-position wireless communication device comprises a first housing portion and a second housing portion. The second housing portion is capable of being arranged in a first closed position relative to the first housing portion and in a second open position relative to the first housing portion. The wireless communication device further comprises at least one external key situated on the exterior surface of one of the first and second housing portions. The at least one external key is capable of being activated by a user when the wireless communication device in the closed position for defining a call recipient and for initiating a call to the call recipient.

  • Publication number: 20050196653
Abstract: A method for improving the efficiency of a hydrocarbon catalytic reformer and close-coupled fuel cell system by recycling a percentage of the anode exhaust syngas directly into the reformer in a range between about 20% and about 60%. Oxygen is supplied to the reformer at start-up. Under equilibrium conditions, oxygen required for reforming of hydrocarbon fuel is derived entirely from endothermic reforming of water and carbon dioxide in the recycled syngas. Recycling of anode syngas into the reformer increases fuel efficiency, adds excess water to the reformate to increase protection against anode coking, and protects the fuel cell stack against air- and water-borne contaminants. A method for producing an excess amount of syngas for exporting for other purposes is also provided.
