Abstract: The present invention relates to the domain of control of access to audiovisual content transmitted to a receiver, in particular control based on the localization of the receiver. This invention proposes a method of control of access to content transmitted to a receiver, said receiver being part of an access geographic control system comprising verification means and security means, the method comprising the following steps: acquisition of a current localization by a portable device, transfer of the current localization to the verification means, extraction, in a memory of the verification means, of a localization data set defining at least one area, verification, by the verification means, that the current localization is included in said area, and if so, transmission of an authorization message for the reception of the audiovisual content to the security means relative to the receiver.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a device for conveniently providing rights to particular conditional access protected digital media content. A sleeve for covering a reception device for receiving the conditional access content is provided. The sleeve comprises a proximity wireless communications module including an antenna and a control chip. The reception device may be a set-top box, a telephone, a tablet computer or the like, as long as it is capable of receiving conditional access content, and may be used along with a detachable security module for decrypting control words to allow the content to be decrypted. The owner of such a reception device may purchase the sleeve which contains the rights to access conditional access content and when the sleeve is mounted on the reception device the rights are granted to the reception device by way of the proximity communications means.

Abstract: A remote control system is provided for remotely controlling, by the hand of a user, an electronic card connected to a screen (monitor or television). This remote control system includes at least: a keypad, an onboard processor and a system for transmitting signals intended for the electronic card. A method for reproducing the keypad of the remote control system on a zone of reduced size superimposed on the image of the screen is provided. The image of the keypad on the screen displays virtually, and in real time, the position of the thumb of the hand of the user placed on the remote control system. The image of the keypad on the screen, referred to as zone of reduced size, is more preferably located in a corner of the screen in such a way as to not hide the broadcast image. Finally, a method for transmitting control signals using a remote control system controlled by the hand of a user intended for an electronic card connected to a television screen or monitor is provided.
