  • Patent number: 11988520
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to monitoring data in and around a vehicle to predict anomalous, e.g., unsafe, road conditions, and using the data to suggest a corrective action to avoid the unsafe road conditions. A computing device receives information indicative of imagery, sound, or vehicle operation via sensors and/or cameras mounted in or near a vehicle. The information may be received via the vehicle itself or via a device. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of an anomalous road condition. The computing device also receives vehicle operation data extracted from one or more vehicle sensors. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of unsafe road conditions, and if there is, the computing device may output a notice or alert via a notification system to alert the driver.

  • Publication number: 20240143742
Abstract: The disclosure provides computing platforms, systems, methods, and storage media for delivering contextual feedback to a user of a potential cybersecurity attack, such as a phishing attack. In an aspect, the disclosure provides: configuring, via a processor, a plurality of rules, each rule associated with an indicator of suspicious activity and a feedback snippet corresponding to the indicator; receiving, at the processor, a report of a potentially malicious electronic communication; triggering, at the processor, a rule of the plurality of rules based on the associated indicator and the report of the electronic communication; generating, at the processor, feedback comprising the feedback snippet associated with each triggered rule; automatically providing the feedback to the user.

  • Publication number: 20240141886
Abstract: A technique for monitoring valve and pump efficiencies for positive displacement pumps. The techniques include utilizing a data acquisition system to attain intake and discharge pressure data in combination with real-time encoder position data. Thus, when combined, output from a pump may be monitored in real-time. As a result, pump life may be extended beyond an anticipated changeout schedule. By the same token, premature pump inefficiencies may also be detected for taking a pump offline in advance of expected life. In either circumstance, multi-pump operations may be substantially enhanced with cost and time savings realized.

  • Patent number: 11968595
Abstract: A method of determining a physical location for an address. The method includes receiving from a first global positioning system on a vehicle a first set of global positioning data indicative of a vehicle location. The method may also receive from a second global positioning system on a portable electronic device a second set of global positioning data indicative of a portable electronic device location. The method may also receive a set of location metadata associated with a picture. The method determines a residence location from the first set of global positioning data, the second set of global positioning data, or the set of location metadata. The method then associates the physical location to the address.

  • Patent number: 11957941
Abstract: A fire suppressing insulation. This insulation will create a barrier that blocks a fire to protect a structure from damage and will assist in suppressing the fire. Also, a fire suppression system including two walls, such as an interior wall and an exterior wall or two interior walls. The walls are spaced apart from each other by a divider to define an interior volume. At least a portion of the interior volume includes fire suppressing insulation that will form a fire suppressing intumescent barrier between the walls when exposed to the heat of a fire.

  • Patent number: 11953429
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure include at least one building component detection sensor device configured to be deployed within (or proximate to) a building comprised of a plurality of building components. The at least one building component detection sensor device is configured to detect data relating to at least one building component of the plurality of building components. In addition, a building component property determination system includes a processor configured to execute instructions stored in memory to determine one or more properties of the at least one building component based at least in part on the data detected by the at least one building component detection sensor device.

  • Patent number: 11931608
Abstract: A system for dispensing flame retardant foam on the exterior of a structure. The structure has an opening that enables distribution of flame retardant foam onto the roof. The system includes a foam distribution system having a foam expansion chamber and a roof plenum for delivery through the roof opening. Foam solution and compressed air are combined in a conduit and supplied to the foam expansion chamber. The structure may have at least one wall. In that case, the system may have a wall plenum for delivery of flame retardant foam from the foam expansion chamber through a first wall-associated opening. Each such wall will have an opening associated with the wall that enables distribution of flame retardant foam onto that wall.

  • Publication number: 20070120335
Abstract: A skateboard/ski combination wherein the four wheels of a traditional skateboard have been removed, while the skateboard trucks remain in place, and are then replaced with four ski apparatuses. An anchoring plate connects springs from the underside of the skateboard deck to the ski apparatus base that maintains a traditional ski shape, with rails that protrude outward from the front and rear of the ski base, still maintaining a traditional ski shovel shape. The ski base, which has a flat or concave surface perpendicular to the length of the ski, contains a radius positioned longitudinally to the ski length (rocker) that then transitions to a small radius at the front and rear of the skis, thereby providing a traditional ski shovel in the front and rear of the ski base. Metal or plastic rails are mounted to the ski base on opposing sides of the base in a vertical fashion, extending below the surface of the base.
