    Abstract: Methods of manufacturing cutting blades, such as band saw blades. In some aspects of the invention, the method includes cutting blade stock with a laser and welding the blade length with a laser to provide a continuous cutting blade. In some aspects of the invention, the method includes cutting the blade stock to provide an end edge portion oriented at a non-perpendicular angle relative to an edge of the blade stock and welding the blade length to provide a continuous cutting blade.
