  • Publication number: 20240068417
Abstract: Operating a gaseous fuel engine system includes outputting control commands to a first fuel admission valve and a second fuel admission valve to admit, respectively, a gaseous fuel blend containing a gaseous hydrogen fuel (H2), and additional H2, into a gaseous fuel engine. An amount of the additional H2 is determined by way of the respective control command based on a performance target for an engine parameter varying on the basis of a relative amount of H2 in a combustion charge. Related apparatus and control logic is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240073156
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for detecting a shortfall condition with respect to a subscription agreement between a publisher and a subscriber, particularly in a network environment. A method, according to one implementation, includes the steps of examining measurable aspects of real-world subscription events between a publisher and a subscriber in a distributed system. The method also includes the step of comparing the measurable aspects with a subscription agreement between the publisher and the subscriber to determine if there is a shortfall with respect to the subscription agreement.

  • Publication number: 20240068418
Abstract: Operating a gaseous fuel engine system includes conveying hydrogen fuel and hydrocarbon fuel into a cylinder in a gaseous fuel engine for combustion. Operating a gaseous fuel engine system further includes receiving an increased engine power output request, boosting a power output of the gaseous fuel engine by varying a ratio of the hydrogen fuel and the hydrocarbon fuel combusted in the cylinder, and varying an in-cylinder combustion parameter based on the varying a ratio. Perturbation to a performance profile of the gaseous fuel engine is thereby limited. Related apparatus and control logic is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11914745
Abstract: Handling personally identifiable information (PII) in data streams is provided. Processed sensor data is received, from a plurality of vehicles including sensors capturing raw sensor data, the raw sensor data including captured PII and non-PII. The processed sensor data includes simulated PII created based on the captured PII and one or more layers of the captured PII corresponding to the simulated PII. A request is received from a client device for a portion of the processed sensor data. Access keys corresponding to the request are identified. A result is constructed according to the access keys using the processed sensor data. The constructed result is sent to the client device responsive to the request.

  • Patent number: 11752080
Abstract: Powdery cosmetic compositions comprise a particulate phase and a binder sub- composition. The binder sub-composition consists of a viscous emollient, a non-viscous emollient, a triglyceride ester fatty acid, and one or more specific waxes. The binder sub-composition is particularly suited for use in stabilizing pearlescent and metallic pigments. The compositions are stable, have a creamy texture, and are suitable for long-wear, while providing true color, excellent color payoff and skin conditioning.

  • Publication number: 20090032442
Abstract: A method, and associated system, of sorting municipal solid waste (120) into types of materials, the method including the steps of: sorting the solid waste (120) into an oversize fraction (180), a midsize fraction (170) and an undersize fraction (160); using at least manual-based (210, 330), density-based (234, 310), further size-based (346) and metal-based (318) sorting means to obtain a partial oversize fraction (236), a first partial midsize fraction (348) and a second partial midsize fraction (350); combining the partial oversize fraction (236) and the first partial midsize fraction (348) to produce an oversize-midsize combined fraction (237), and combining the undersize fraction (160) and the second partial midsize fraction (350) to produce an undersize-midsize combined fraction (412); and, using further sorting means to further sort the oversize-midsize combined fraction (237) and the undersize-mid-size combined fraction (412) into types of materials.
