  • Patent number: 11957837
Abstract: A method is provided for reducing the risk of sustaining a traumatic brain injury caused by a traumatic event that includes identifying a subject at risk of sustaining a traumatic brain injury, and then precisely increasing the partial pressure of carbon-dioxide (CO2) in the blood of the subject (pCO2). This method can be applied to raise the CO2 and pCO2 to improve orthostatic hypotension in conditions such as dysautonomias (like Positional Orthostatic Tachycardic Syndrome POTS) and to facilitate the drive to breathe in conditions like Central Sleep Apnea (CSA) and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The pCO2 of the person is increased by placing a breathing apparatus over the mouth of the person through which the person must breath, wherein the breathing apparatus includes an enlarged dead space volume in which expired CO2 collects to be inhaled or re-breathed by the person on the next inhalation.

Abstract: Cold thermal chemical vapor deposition coatings, articles, and processes are disclosed. Specifically, a cold thermal chemical vapor deposition process includes positioning an article, heating a precursor gas to at least a decomposition temperature of the precursor gas to produce a deposition gas, introducing the deposition gas to a coating vessel, and depositing a coating from the deposition gas onto the article within the coating vessel. The article remains at a temperature below the decomposition temperature throughout the introducing and depositing of the deposition gas. The coating on the article has a gradient formed by the depositing of the coating having no flow for a period of time. The coated article includes a thermally-sensitive substrate (the thermally-sensitive substrate capable of being modified by a temperature of 300 degrees Celsius) and a coating the thermally-sensitive substrate.

  • Patent number: 11955116
Abstract: Content is organized for brands by selecting a plurality of brand templates. After each selection, a set of properties is generated by applying a portion of settings of the respective brand template, with the remaining settings being overridden with settings for a channel communicating one of a plurality of presentations to a node of a network involved in the communication. The plurality of presentations may include different renditions of the same content. The properties may include sections configured for different focus areas and/or types of content associated with at tags to enable brand-level-targeting. Filters may be identified in the properties. Based on each of the identifications, a property from among the generated sets of properties may be selected based on comparisons with the associated tags.

  • Publication number: 20240112228
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating efficient iterative electronic recommendation structures. In various aspects, one or more processors aggregate a plurality of ratings vectors, where each ratings vector is associated with a vector type and contains one or more content ranking metrics associated with one or more users. The one or more processors generate similarity pairing values from the plurality of ratings vectors, where each similarity pairing value is based on a similarity mapping between a first ratings vector and a second ratings vector. The one or more processors further generate an electronic recommendation structure based on the similarity pairing values, where the electronic recommendation structure includes a bi-directional look-up interface that is configured to return a bi-directional recommendation value after receiving a lookup request for either the vector type of the first ratings vector or the vector type of the second ratings vector.
