Abstract: A booster seat includes: a seat having an inner cavity; at least one winding drum, in the cavity, configured to rotate in a first direction in which the belt is unwound from the at least one winding drum and in a second direction in which the belt is wound up on the at least one winding drum; first elastic members, configured to operate on the at least one winding drum to counteract rotation of the at least one winding drum in the first direction; and lock members, configured to operate on the at least one winding drum and/or the belt, and configured to switch between a retaining position, in which the lock members inhibit rotation of the at least one winding drum and/or movement of the belt, and a release position, in which the lock members permit rotation of the at least one winding drum and/or movement of the belt.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a high chair for children convertible into a booster seat comprising an upper part and a base, the upper part having a seating surface adapted for engagement with a corresponding bearing surface of the base, lateral armrest sides, a backrest whose perimeter boundary extends from one lateral side to the other, as well as a backrest extension extending in cantilever fashion from the perimeter boundary of the backrest. The backrest extension consists of a body separate from the backrest and comprises members for removable connection to the perimeter boundary of the backrest. When the backrest extension is removed, the upper part of the high chair is used as a booster seat.

The support structures, which are initially spaced apart from each other, move toward each other as the crib is being closed, while the half-parts of the upper frame pivot relative to each other and to the support structures.
