  • Patent number: 11794119
Abstract: The present technology provides a mechanism for assisting in generating a prioritized view of an in-game environment of a game session of a game title by establishing and propagating the prioritized view to spectator devices, the game session played by user devices controlling characters in the in-game environment. The prioritized view is intelligently determined based on in-game indicators associated with each respective game view at the user devices.

  • Patent number: 11794102
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed towards systems and methods of implementing multi-player online games using cloud computing. By using cloud computing (also known as a cloud network), hardware and/or software requirements for running the multi-player online game can be minimized as the game itself would be executed and run using resources available in the cloud network rather than based on local resources, such as a laptop or gaming console. Different users situated at different locations can all be provided access to the same game without the need for the specialized hardware, software, and resource levels.

  • Patent number: 11601698
Abstract: Systems and methods for intelligent synchronization of media streams are provided. A server may receive streams corresponding to an interactive session and sent over a communication network from user devices in the interactive session. A predetermined attribute may be identified as present in each of the streams, but received at different times by the server. The server may determine a time difference between a time that a predetermined attribute in a first stream of the streams was received and a time that the predetermined attribute in a second stream of the streams was received. The first stream and the second stream may then be synchronized using the time difference and provided to a recipient device.

  • Patent number: 11534683
Abstract: A game system is disclosed that enables users to play a multi-user game on their respective user devices while viewing a projection view on a separate screen, such as a movie theater screen. The projection view may be generated by a game control system by running game client that controls a special character in the game. The special character acts as a camera, generating a view that can be used as, or included in, the projection view. The game control system may control the position of the special character in a game world to generate views of selected game events.

  • Patent number: 10946274
Abstract: A game system is disclosed that enables users to play games on their respective devices while viewing associated information on a separate screen, such as that of a movie theater. One of the methods includes maintaining, by a system running a game server associated with an electronic game, communications with one or more user devices each running a game client associated with the electronic game. The communications include client game information from each user device that identifies user interactions with the respective game client. Display data that includes a projection view to be provided for presentation on a display, separate from the user devices, is generated to be viewed by the users of the user devices. The display data is generated by a camera game client, controlled by the system, from a location in a game world of the electronic game. The projection view is presented on the display.

  • Patent number: 8478650
Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying search results while generating a media campaign from information about available units stored in a central database, including a set of media formats for the available units and associated ancillary information. Selective criteria is entered at a remote computer coupled to the central computer database via a network and web server for a search of the information stored in the database, and a search is generated based upon the selective criteria. Results of the search are displayed at the remote computer, the results constituting matching media format information and associated ancillary information the results displayed according to the associated ancillary information, which preferably constitutes time periods for which the corresponding formats are available. The search results are preferably displayed in a timeline, preferably organized in daily or weekly views.

  • Patent number: 8447659
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a media campaign from information about available units stored in a central database, including a set of first characteristic data and associated behavior information and a set of media formats for the available units and associated behavior information. Selective criteria is entered based on the first characteristic data at a remote computer coupled to the central computer database via a network and web server for a search of the information stored in the database, and a search is generated based upon the selective criteria, the search identifying the certain behavior information corresponding to the first characteristic data and media format information associated with that certain behavior information. Results of the search are displayed at the remote computer, the results constituting matching media format information and associated information. The user then selects among the media formats from the search results to constitute the media campaign.
